I've been using cheap garment bags that are just one open pocket of material that zips closed over my suit(s) for over a year. I would have to also pack another backpack to hold ties, accessories,etc. They eventually were blown out and I wanted to see what I could get to upgrade. This thing was a huge step up! Multiple pockets, I can fit 3 suits comfortably and even pack 2 pair of shoes inside before zipping it shut. It will work as a carry on, and is super simple to just unzip and hang in the closet. I wear a suit and tie every day for work and had over 60 hotel stays last year and this made my life a little easier! I gave durability 4 stars just because the inside material that zips over the suits seems a little thin and the loops that hold the hangers could be beefed up. It hasn't blown out (yet) but with my heavy use I know it might one day. Other than that this bag feels tough and looks super clean rather than my old cheap cloth "suit covers" with a zipper. Would absolutely recommend!

Reasonably priced did the job and well made

We bought this for our teen to transport her suits for an academic competition. It worked very well. It was easy to carry with the luggage sleeve and the suits didn’t wrinkle. She also liked that it was lightweight. Great buy!

This is a cheap and lightweight garment bag and should be understood as just that -- it's collapsable, foldable and will not stand up on its own so do not imagine you are getting a piece of luggage that offers stiff support on any side. That said, it can protect your suits and shirts as long as you protect the bag from being bent or distorted in storage. The inside contains a zip up liner that can keep your clothes separated from anything else you pack, and a hanging hook so you can open the back and hang directly in a closet without having to take your clothes out. Definitely decent enough for the price but it is a bag, not a case, despite the impression you might get from the pictures.

I had to fly from Dallas, TX to Rochester, NY for a family event and I needed to bring my suit. I confirmed online that this counts as a carryon, so I bought it, put my suit inside, zipped it shut, and was on my way. The material is quality, and of a good weight, meaning that while it is light, it's not paper thin and/or likely to tear.One of the nice things about these suit bags is that upon entering the aircraft, the attendants offered to hang my bag in their closet space up front. So I didn't have to locate space for it in an overhead bin at all. I just needed to remember to grab it on the way out. They even had room to hang it on the small plane for the Rochester leg of the trip.My suit "cargo" consisted of the jacket, pants, shirt, a belt, and a tee shirt. When I reached my destination, my suit was in great shape, and no wrinkles! Both the interior and exterior zippers worked smoothly, and the organization pockets for my belt and socks were very useful.
