Nickel free belt for men & women by GRIP6. At GRIP6 our goal is to make the best metal free belts men & women that have ever been made. This goal rings true whether you decide to use our product as a military style belt, a carbon fiber belt, or anything in-between. We define success a little differently than most companies. We want our carbon fiber belts for men & women to look good, function better, and last longer than any you’ve ever worn before. Our non metal belt buckle and belt strap creates a minimalist belt with a clean, symmetric design. It has no holes and no flap. This mens nickel free belt is extremely low profile. It’s made from a solid carbon fiber belt buckle and ultra durable nylon webbing. It’s exceptionally comfortable and easily interchangeable. Fitting pant sizes from 28 to 50 with infinite adjustability, it gets rid of the 1” notches and is comfortable on all body types. The buckle was designed as a single solid part, to give you a no-slip non metal belt buckle that doesn’t dig into your gut. Laser cut from aerospace grade aluminum and formed with a slight bend, the buckle produces an extremely comfortable fit. The rugged belt strap is made from military strength nylon webbing and boasts a breaking strength of 2500 pounds. Our GRIP6 nickel free belts can be used as anything from a military belt to a golf belt, making it perfect for business casual or outdoor adventure. We have a wide selection of no metal belts for men & women, feel free to check out our other colors and styles of belt metal detector friendly.

A belt that looks good when you finally get it on, but functions poorly
The price is absurd. When I received the package, I thought this must be a promotional giveaway. It looks like it should be $9 not $90! It is awkward to put on as it is supposed to work with friction by looping the end of the belt under itself. There is no way to easily pull it closed snugly as in order to set it tight, you have to get your fingers between the belt and your waist, maneuvering underneath the belt, around the belt loops of your trousers. You really should have a butler to help you dress with this belt. I tried wearing it twice but sadly, a third attempt will not be a charm. Unloved, it will not be missed and since Amazon makes it easy to return, back it will go.

Great idea but needs improvement
I bought this Carbon Fiber belt specifically for use while traveling. Since I'm flying 6 times a week I just wanted one less TSA hassle. Having a non-metal belt would be great for passing through the metal detectors. Unfortunately this belt by design would not stay tight which ended up being worse than just dealing with removing my belt at the check points. I really think this company is on to something good but needs to come up with a way to keep the belt tightly fitted.

Paid for new belt received a used one :(
I already own two Grip6 belts, so i'm a fan. For $90, I had high expectations for this carbon fiber version. Unfortunately i received a used belt. I knew right away it was used because as soon as i opened the box i noticed it did not have that plastic covering it's supposed to have. I've seen several unboxing videos where they show the there's a clear plastic covering on the new belt. I could've gotten over that but upon further inspecting i noticed scratches as you can see on the picture. For the price, this is unacceptable.

GRIP6 Carbon is well made, extremely adjustable, a tad on the expensive side.
I have been trying to find a belt that I could wear through Airports (TSA), granted it may now be a while before I fly again, and they may make you take it off anyway, but something synthetic, no metal. Also, something for hiking, that would not mind getting wet, if it rained or you had to ford something deep. I have found some others that worked reasonably well, but the GRIP6 Carbon Fiber belt seems to be better than anything else I have run into. It is a bit tricky to learn how to cinch in properly, but once you figure it out, you can set it to wherever you want, and it generally stays quite well, does not slip or stretch. Might take a bit longer to undo, going to the rest room, but the trick is just to uncinch it a few inches, not all of the way. What I find with leather belts is that when you go to climates with a lot of humidity, they tend to stretch out some, and you are always chasing which hole to use. And most leather belts do not like getting wet. Now, the Carbon Fiber versions of the GRIP6 belt does cost a lot, I am not sure why, but if you look at it in the context of a good leather belt, somewhat comparable, and the aluminum belt version is considerably cheaper. Generally the GRIP6 does not produce a belt buckle budge, if you wear a shirt untucked over it, so that is another plus. Just order the normal belt size, they leave plenty of extra, no need to up-size. Some competitors would be the Arcade belt (that is cheaper, more stretchy, but also lays flat), Bill Adler (hard to find, stretch, does not lay as flat), Bison (non-stretch, not as flat) and 5.11 (same).

Comfortable belt.
I love this belt. It's thin, and doesn't cause any irritation (the massive belt buckles that a lot of companies think men want tend to cut into you when you sit down). It's also very useful to be able to adjust it to any length, rather than having precut holes with set waist lengths. This is probably the most comfortable belt I've ever used.Is it worth $90? Probably not... But I wanted the carbon fiber one, the others are less. I feel the materials used would cost maybe $10 if you made it yourself, but it's the same with any clothing you might buy really.Overall I'm very pleased with it, I feel it'll last forever (because of the materials used), and it's the most comfortable belt I've ever used. I'll probably buy some of the other designs in the future.

The Gift of Gifts for Fat People!! Gut pinch be gone.
This simple does what a belt should do. Keeps your pants up, does loosen, and never pinches the gut. What more could one ask for? I bought a normal metal one at first. It was so nice that two days later when their targeted adds tracked me down and I saw there was a carbon fiber version where I wont need to take off my belt when going through security I knew what I had to do. Return the first? Nope, give it to my brother for his guts well being and buy myself a carbon fiber one. Now i sit here contemplating if I should buy a whole set.

Solid Product - Excellent For Travel and Every Day Use
This is a really great product. My only real complaint is minor, and definitely not a deal breaker. That issue is the nylon webbing; it's a bit stiff and can rub if your belt rides up and gets a tick over your waistline when sitting. A slightly smoother/softer nylon would have made it a 5 star for sure, but it isn't so much of an issue to turn away from a fantastic product. Maybe over time it will soften a bit. I have other nylon belts (like the Wilderness tactical, for example) which have a bit softer nylon that don't exhibit that behavior.Where this belt shines for sure is exactly why one is looking for this type of product. It's excellent for travel and makes it much easier to roll through metal detectors without having to remove your belt. Whether an airport, arena, sporting event, whatever.

Not the Best for Sure
If you are a bit overweight, the torture is adjusting the fit. Bad construction when it comes to adjusting the fit. I returned it promptly and will never look at such a pain in the b_t mistake I made in buying. Thank god I returned it. It also is way above price that fooled me in thinking, "well they cost is high so it must be a good one. I was totaly wrong.

Nicely designed product.
Overall nice product. I enjoy the belt(s) and they are true to your pant waist size. Canadian buyers note that there are additional fees as the product ships direct from the US.

Sturdy, with lots of variations.
Good quality with several variations. I really like this belt system and the ability to switch belt and buckles around. I don't know about durability yet, but it seems sturdy enough at first use.
