The Muflon is packed with all the top-of-the-line features you could ever need, from a 4-way stretch fabric to keep you maneuverable, to 3M Thinsulate insulation throughout and a Deer-Tex membrane with a 10,000mm hydrostatic head to keep you waterproof and windproof when the weather turns. The Muflon garments are reinforced strategically with nylon/polyethene mix panels and the Deertex membrane is covered by a 5 year Deerhunter warranty (see terms online). The Muflon jacket features a detachable hood, extra large cartridge pockets, hand-warmer pockets and adjustable drawstrings for a close fit.

You pay for what you get and I am not disappointed
Being an angler, I feel us anglers are getting ripped off with buying "named" stuff for fishing. However, with certain things it always pays to buy a known name. After spending some time in researching for a new waterproof thermal jacket for fishing, I came across this. These were highly recommended by a few other anglers in various forums. So I took the plunge, not literally and purchased this jacket with a view to sending it back if I didn't like it. So what can I say other than this is an excellent jacket. It is waterproof.....I stood under the shower with it on and the water just dripped off. It is exceptionally warm and I now know why other anglers said that in winter, you won't need many layers under this jacket. There are 2 versions of this, long and short. Long you are protected down to -15 and short -5. I opted for long, not that I'll ever be fishing in -15! This jacket has everything I could ask for. Ample pockets and I like the small gesture of having a glasses cleaning cloth attached to a plastic coil in one pocket.One thing I do know about this Deerhunter Muflon range, is that when finances and my availability permits, I will invest in a bib and brace set of these. I had my last waterproof thermal set for 20 years and I expect this to last even longer.I am 5ft 9 and stocky, not fat. I usually go for a large jacket but opted for x-large in this jacket, as I wanted a bit of room to move round in as such. As a guideline, 54 is the equivalent to a x-large.Amazon is the cheapest place I found for these.

Super Winterjacke
Super Jacke, sehr warm und sehr durchdacht. Extrem viele Taschen. Fast zu viel, bin dann manchmal am suchen wo ich mein Zeug verstaut habe.

Warm, nicht wasserdicht, Reißverschluss schließt schlecht
Warme schwere Jacke, leider sehr schlechter Reißverschluss. Sonst gut verarbeitet. leider überhaupt nicht wasserdicht, saugt sich bei Regen mit Wasser voll, wiegt dann das Dreifache. Wenn man die in Grün gezeigte Jacke bestellt, bekommt man eine in Tarnfarben. Ich war etwas enttäuscht, daher nur zwei von fünf Sternen.

Genial für Frostbeulen wie mich!
Eigentlich müsste ich einen Stern für das Material der Jacke abziehen, da die Gefahr für Fäden die sich ziehen könnten sehr groß ist - Unpraktisch, wenn man die Jacke nicht zum Jagen, sondern für die Spaziergänge mit Hunden nutzt, die einen auch gerne einmal anspringen und mit ihren Krallen an einem hängen bleiben oder wieder herunterrutschen! Da die Jacke aber auch nicht für Hundehalter oder Hundesportler gemacht wurde, gibt es auf Grund der guten Qualität und der hervorragenden Wärmeversorgung trotzdem 5 Sterne von mir!

Schön
Jacke war wie erwartet gut verarbeitet sehr warm lang genug, also bis übern Arsch nicht so kurz wie die meisten Outdoor Jacken. Leider war 54 bei 183 cm und 80 Kg viel zu groß, auf meine bitte mir eine Nummer kleiner zuzusenden reagierte leider keiner. Eine neubestellung wollte ich nnicht da der Preis plötzlich 50 Euro höher war
