And speaking of smell, the odor while burning is so extremely faint that this version of good Firefly fuel is suitable for both indoors and out. Do not mistake the Tiki torch fuel with this. This is quality grade for use in lamps and lanterns where smoke is not desired. In fact, In my Kirkman #1 lantern, after 120 plus hours of use, and many refills and restarts, the globe has shown no blackening, none. My next purchase is a Butterfly-style stove, and you can bet a paycheck that I'll be burning a Firefly fuel in it.

Great lamp oil! I bought a quart to test in my oil lamps, and was pleased with the result. No smoke or smell, works great. I've just purchased five gallons of it for emergency purposes. The manufacturer says it will last indefinitely as long as stored in a cool, dry location.

This is a good product, although about 6 or 7 times the cost of Kerosene,my complaint is the the 5 gallon dispenser, leaked all over everything underthe shelf I set it up on, you couldn't see it leaking because it dripped underthe container and dripped from the middle of the underside, I wouldn't of noticedexcept I noticed the fuel level was getting lower and lower, when I checked underthe container my things were all sitting in about a gallon of fuel oil and ruined.So, be sure and check for leaks before you trust there are none...

I had several questions concerning the fuel and contacted the company. I spoke to 2 different people at 2 different times. The responses to my questions were informative and the individuals were very professional. I have used the product 2 different occasions and have not been disappointed. I read a couple of negative reports and can't figure out what may have gone wrong in their case. I purchased 5 gallons and have already given samples to friends to try.
