Graco SnugRide Essentials 30 Infant Car Seat | Baby Car Seat, Winfield

We recently had our first child, and like any good late 20's couple, we used the internet to thoroughly research baby items before purchasing. Also like many in our age group, Amazon is a big supplier for our entire house. We decided on purchasing this Graco car seat/carrier for our little one, and thus far have all been very impressed (baby included). She actually falls asleep every time she's put into it, and normally stays asleep once we get where we're going. Overall it seems very comfortable based on that.Other than baby's reaction, it's been good for us. Base is easy to install using either method (belt or seat bar method). The carrier itself is very sturdy but lightweight. We do not have experience with a lot of other car seats, but as far as removing the seat from the base and other things, it's really very simple, so I don't understand the other reviewers having issues with it.I will say that we also have an additional insert we were given for head support around baby's head, so we used it in conjunction with the head support already provided by the carrier while she was really young. It was a baby shower gift, but can't believe it's very expensive to get. If that's a concern with your baby and this carrier, just go to Walmart and grab one of those I'd say.We're very pleased, and highly recommend this carrier to those shopping around.

*I haven't used it yet since I'm due March 3 2020. This is just out-of-box observations*It's definitely lightweight, even with the base attached (with my oldests' infant seat the base was heavy and that car seat was great). The base has anchors which might be tougher than others to install. The cost is nice and on the lower end so the materials used reflects that. It doesn't look like it would be very cozy for a newborn because the seat material is made from something similar to a tent (makes for easy cleaning); the padding that is there isn't very thick or comfortable looking. The canopy moves easy enough but makes a loud clicking sound which I worry would wake up a light-sleeping baby. The handle also moves well and locks in place nicely.I'll update once I've installed it and used it for a while.

I live everything about Graconcarseats and systems and have used them for all my kids. The only draw back is that although they are rated for 4lbs+, I brought 3 premies home in these seats (5pounds, 6 pounds and 7 pounds at discharge) and they definitely need little side bumpers (a rolled up receiving blanket on each side) until they are about 8-10 pounds- otherwise they slump in the large, open area of the seat. That is both my opinion and that of the NICU nurses who have performed our car seat evaluations before discharge. It’s not a problem, I would still buy these 100% and just roll up blankets on the side or get those newborn car seat inserts — insert head pieces NOT. recommended by NICU nurses.

The carseat is good and functional. The click connect feature allows it to securely connect to almost any edge you place it against. I had a much older modeled stroller and was afraid that the carseat was not going to fit securely in it, but it connects perfectly to the edge of the tray. I did have to buy a head support for my newborn because the cushion that is provided is pretty flat and doesn't support the head whatsoever. This is my first child and first carseat purchase, so as a new mom I found it easy to install and maneuver.

If you're looking for a reliable car seat that's not the cheapest on the market but still affordable, this may be the one.Overall look, it's nice. Not much padding or support but this can be easily solved with rolled up receiving blankets until baby can support herself. The weight is good. I may add a pad for my arm but that would be the only after market addition I would add.Overall this is a good car seat and I recommend.

Great car seat. A little pricey, but worth it. I especially love how easy it is to get in and out of the car. The base sits in the seat and you easily wrap the seatbelt around it. You get in and out of the car and there’s a simple lever on the back of the car seat - the place you’re already grabbing - and you lift it and it unlatches. Just as easy seating the baby back in the car. Great design, couldn’t be happier.

Nice car seat for the price but I was thinking it was gray but it's more of a blue color. To much of a hassle to return so I'm just going to buy a pink insert. Also the head support is a little flimsy for a newborn so I recommend a sturdy insert for head support.

Buen producto, me gusto, compre dos para mis gemelos y se adaptan muy bien a la carreola doble de Graco, mis bebes quedan bien y seguros, lo recomiendo.
