You'll Recognize These People
I am a collector and sharer of all kinds of postcards AND I love to read, so I knew I had to have this set. First, the collection is titled PERECTLY--the 'Snooty' Bookshop -- we've all been there. Dealing with clerks who were weaned on 'the classics' and make us feel out of place when we're asking for the latest King novel. MOST of these are truly entertaining. I've bought sets before where 2-3 cards were funny and the rest were duds. These are all pretty much great. Made of VERY sturdy cardstock and a nice, shareable size, too. Easy to remove from the booklet as well.

Marvellous collection of humorous postcards
Got this today, started to thumb through them, and began to laugh out loud. Yes I’ve seen many before and they’re still funny. Can’t remember when a simple purchase made me this happy. There is one problem: Do I hoard them or send them to friends? What a delightful dilemma.

Unfortunately you don't get the best cartoon as a card
Bought this for the 'snooty bookshop' scene of haughty librarian at very high desk but it turns out to be the cover illustration to the book and not one I can pull out and send, so disappointed. Still giving four stars as the oeuvre and execution overall merit.

A wonderful collection
Not much you can say about this as it isn't a book per se but, exactly as described, a book of postcards. Anyone with a love of books and experience of (brick and mortar) bookshops will identify with most (all?) of these cards. They are witty, amusing and fun. If you buy I think you will be in a quandary as to whether to keep them or send them - solution? Buy two copies!
