棒針編み模様別決定版　模様編500 (Japanese Edition)

As it says, it's 500 knitting stitch patterns in Japanese. Some of the stitches will be familiar to you if you've ever looked in a stitch dictionary before, but many are new, and a lot of them are combinations I've never seen before. Some of the samples are hard to see because they were photographed using fuzzy yarn, but overall the book is a real gem.My Japanese friend clued me into the pattern repeat/row repeat counts, which are displayed at the top right hand corner of the Japanese description of each stitch.

Honestly I got this because I'm obsessed with Japanese pattern books. There are some gorgeous stitches in here. But you should REALLY get 1000 Knitting Patterns by T Soto - you will fall over it's GORGEOUS

最近はかぎ針の方が人気なのかしら…棒針のこれ系の新作って、恐ろしく少ないんですね（笑）かぎ針は結構選択肢あるのに。まあとりあえず普通の模様編みバリエーション本かなとおもいます。ゲージ出しできる方なら、好きなように使えるはず。ただ、他の方も書かれてましたが、サンプルとして使われている毛糸が（笑）なぜ、編み目の見えないモヘアなんかがあるのか…？色も薄く、全く模様が確認できないものもあります。パターン本なのだから、全て毛足の短い、シンプルなストレートヤーンを使うべきですね。その点でマイナスしました。

アラン模様のベストを編みたくてパターンを探していました。種類が豊富なのはもちろん、その編み方もわかりやすい解説図があり、初めて編む記号でも編めそうです。他に1000パターンの本も買いましたが、こちらの方が見やすい気がしました。

掲載されている編地の種類、本としてのレイアウトの良さなど、今まで見た模様編みの本の中で一番だと思います。使用されている毛糸の色や質感のために、編地が見えにくいものがいくつもあるのが残念でした。編地のサンプル集には、見易さを第一に糸の選択をして欲しいと思います。

安いとこ探して、やっと購入しました。とても参考になります。１冊持ってるといいですよ～♪

比較的簡単なものから、いつかもっと上達したら挑戦したいと思うような高度なものまで、充実した内容でした。１冊あれば、長くいろいろな作品に使えると思います。
