I have these installed as stop lamps on my Yamaha XS400. When the bike is On but not running, the bulbs barely change in brightness when the brake is pressed. When the engine is running however, the bulbs are very bright when the brakes are pressed. If the engine idle is too low, they flicker as the generator pulses, but over 1200 RPM they behave normally.If you'd like to fit these to your application, be sure to check the part numbers against the originals that are installed.

The lights are bright and fit perfectly. However, the difference between tail lights and when the brakes are pressed is negligible. Definitely not enough difference so will be switching back to the original bulbs till I can find LEDs that work properly.

I agree with the other posts, the difference between running and braking isn't so great. I was looking forward to a greater delta, and brighter overall behaviour. Also, I just lost two (2) of these lights after only a few months...LED technology should be running much much longer...like years or decades... Replaced with the last two spares that I had. Well, almost, the last one will not fit the socket, looks like mechanical tolerance issues in the build of the bulb. I will be looking for a replacement. I like the Kolites, but looks like no 1157 is yet available.

I used a set of these on my 16 foot trailer. I kept burning out the brake lights from road vibration. I have had these on for several long trips and have held up great. I don't have to worry about any tickets. The light quality is just as bright as the regular bulbs. great Product.

I have had that's in my car for a few years now and still going strong. I have not had an issue with them what so ever.

Did not work out for me. Was replacing regular bulbs on my trailer but did not function correctly. Very well may work for others. Would recommend trying them. Cost is good.

Very bright, good price, fast shipping. Need load resistors or LED flasher to use for turn signals (Sold separately). I used 1 for a Yamaha Zuma brake light and the other I rewired for a car trunk light. Both look great.

Not much brighter than stock.
