This was especially interesting for me because as a young boy of about 11 or 12 I had the opportunity to shoot archery next to Ann. She was one year older than myself and her father was the archery instructor at the branch of the YMCA that I went to in Detroit Mich. I knew she was a good shot because I placed 2nd to her in a contest at the YMCA that only included her fathers students. I had no idea at the time that she was already a well known archer. I did easily realize that she was very pretty.

Informative, but kind of sad
Being of the same age as the subject (Ann M). In the fifty's I attended archery tournments (all amature then) where she was a competitor and was interested in her later life. The book is very readable and gives a good account of her life. unfortunately a rather sad life. Recommend the book highly if you ever knew of Ann Marston or just like to read biography books.

An interesting, informed book by Alana Paluszewski. I enjoyed the detail in the story and the courage and tenacity of Ann Marston. Another stellar individual gone too soon.

Might be a good book for a book report
It's a gift. Reading it now. About halfway through. It is very dry and not what I was hoping for. Might be a good book for a book report.
