I own 2 straps from Anthology and they make quality products. They aren't cheep but I did have a few straps I didn't like before I spent a few extra bones to get something I liked.

This is my second strap from Anthology. Yes, they are expensive. BUT they are also incredible! Will easily out live me. Very high quality. The leather and the craftsmanship are top shelf, as one would expect at this price point.The 3 inch width is nice because basses are heavy. At rehearsal we routinely play for two hours without a break. My back complains long before my shoulder does!I tend to wear my instruments low (top of bass at belt height) and this is long enough for that.I don't know what else to say. If someone gave me one of these as a gift, I'd be blown away and assume they went to some small boutique in some quaint place where they also make high end bags and shoes. It's that nice.

Bought it as a gift. I was high quality and I was glad to gift such a high quality item.

Having a great guitar strap is like the frame to a masterpiece. It's the desert after dinner. It's the frosting on the cake. If you've got a nice looking guitar, why cheapen it with a plastic guitar strap. I’m a little concerned with the thread starting to unravel though; happening in several spots. I’ve only used it once in a live setting. I wrote to the company but never heard back from them.

This is a decent looking strap, but it is too thick to fit on the strap buttons. This will lead to unnecessary wear & tear on the buttons and body of the guitar. Also, it is too short because they don't supply the proper length tongue to handle most guitars. So they force you to buy an extra tongue that is longer. This is unacceptable and, frankly, a money grab. I have never had a guitar strap that wasn't long enough for my guitars, until this one. And by the way, my two taylor straps are each plenty long enough. This is just a poor marketing decision on part of this company. I take one star off for being too thick where it attaches to the strap buttons, and two stars off for being so lame as to charge extra to make the strap the proper length needed to work with most guitars.

This is a premium strap. Sure you’re paying a lot of money, but when your ready spend on a premium instrument, you should also be ready to spend on its support.Anthology brings it. Beautiful leathers, impeccable stitching and sewing, the beautiful smell of the rich tanning over your shoulder as you play. You’re stepping up to the big leagues with this strap.

does not slip and slide. just fits. comfortable, and easy to clip on / off. seems hand made to me, and the leather quality is certainly top of the line. by far better than many at this price level. i got it on my taylor k14, high end acoustic and couldn't have gotten anything better. if you spend any serious money on a guitar, then a belt like this would be the proper fit
