Finally a wire free solution for my Fujitsu Mini-Splits!
I have explored almost every solution for making my fujitsu mini-split system smart.Option 1: I should have just paid the $400 extra per unit at time of install for the units with wifi built in. Unfortunately I did not think about it, and here I am.Option 2: The Sensibo, Cielo Breez, Mysa, etc Wifi Thermostats for Mini-Splits - of these I only tried the Cielo Breez, and while it was super easy to setup and use, at 80-120 a unit, they are overpriced for what they are and required always being plugged in which was not nice looking and inconvenient.Option 3: Units like the Broadcom RM4mini ir blaster plus temperature and humidity monitors. At $30 each, this is the most affordable solution, but it took some time to get setup and still required to be plugged in, but at-least they were much smaller than the wifi thermostats.Option 4: In looking for a wire free solution, I discovered the zxt-600, which is now my permanent solution. at $60-70 a unit, they are cheaper than the wifi thermostats and built in options, but more expensive than the broadcom option.Pros: Clean look, no wires, works on batteries that last around a year, can use a micro usb cable if you want a wired solution, its the only battery powered solution that I know of, customer service is very helpful and responsive (they responded to my email within 24 hours), adding device to hub is like adding any other device. I mounted a few feet under the units, and in one room, i mounted the unit accross the room, all of them send ir signal fine, no problems.Cons: all the other solutions are much easier to setup, this requires a z-wave hub and willingness to tinker a tiny bit. They recommend either Samsung Smart Things or Home Assistant. I opted for the later. Testing the codes until you find a right one was time consuming. Once I knew the code, setting up the other units was much easier. Unfortunately this does not have a humidity sensor like the other options. I wish it was a bit cheaper. I also wish it had a physical power button like the wifi thermostat units have or the upcoming zxt-800.Final thoughts: If you are okay with a wired solution - go the broadcom route, its a great little unit and app is great too. If you need a wire-free unit, this is really your only option and once it is setup, it will work great for you.Side note: They have a newer unit coming out - zxt-800 - if you are not in a rush, might be worth waiting for. it has a power button and a humidity sensor built in.

Works good, even if I got a used one
Unit seems to be working as designed and controlling my LG split HVAC head unit. But the packaging seemed a little compromised, and there were already a couple AA batteries installed; which leads me to suspect this was actually a used product.

Easy setup
Was pretty easy to set up with Home Assistant. A little expensive compared to WiFi versions, but I think it was worth it.

Nice product idea but VERY poor configuration ability - Not ready for PRIME time!
Bought this and spent several days trying to configure it to work with my IR remote for my AC. I gave up.The instructions are in broken english at best and tough to make sense of - especially in the detailed parts you need to set up the IR mimic functionality. It did pair on my Z-wave network fine but that’s about it. There’s also no instructions on how to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit. It eludes to it in the instructions but again they are difficult to understand. The reviews warned me of this but I figured I could work through it. I returned it.

Very challenging to set-up and program
I'm sure after I tip-toe through the hundreds of codes they provide I'll eventually land on one that works, but this product is simply too technical for the majority of us to manage to incorporate into a Smart House. Even the Hubitat Elevation folks admit their software routine won't properly set the thing up. Great idea, poor execution.

Works, local control, poor vane control
I really like that this thing has local control. It's really the only reasonably priced option with that.Works well with home assistant and my Aeotec z-wave stick. My only complaint is the Fujitsu codes all set the vanes to a specific setting (one I don't want). My recollection on Fujitsu is the vane position is not part of the standard monolithic signal (e.g. speed, temp, mode all sent together), or at least not a required part of it--I am not sure why they use a specific position instead of leaving the user vane position untouched.

Vera Plus Fail
Still struggling to get this device to work on a Vera Plus. Giving a 'security' error when trying to include. Unfortunately, no help on Remotec web site and the one contact page fails when you try to send so as of now, this is a brick. Device looks clean and very nice. If I figure it out I will update the review.Update: Item will pair with device but requires auto configuration to be turned off after pairing (still security error). This will stop the constant error notifications. Unit seems to function but none of the 23 IR codes work with my unit and programming using the remote does not seem to work so still a brick. I have increased 1 star since it seems to work, just not able to get it to control my particular unit (Carrier Mini Split). Also, have not found any tech support from Remotec so looks like it will get tossed in a drawer.

Impossible setup process
After I have finished the 12 levels and beat the beast, I didn't find the princess in the end of the game. This product is impossible to set up.
