Purchased in 2014 so unit could be old, but getting readings 10+ points higher than the doctors. Save your money and get something more accurate.

I was recently told by my doctor that my blood pressure was "a little high" and she wanted me to go a few times a week to check my blood pressure and report it back to her. She said, don't worry you do not have to buy a monitor, you can just go into one of the local drug stores and get it down. Wow, this was easier said than done, with my busy schedule I would always forget to do it and when I did I would not have a pen to write it down. So I decided to see what was available at Amazon. When I compared this one to the others it looked like the best fit for what I needed to do; I was right! I love the fact that I can have two "identities" on it and that it also saves the times that I check it. This was particularly helpful because I was able to find out that my blood pressure was not always high, just sometimes! I would highly recommend this to anyone who is concerned about their blood pressure; even if their doctor didn't ask them to monitor it.

What a pleasant surprise. I purchased this cuff with some initial concerns with quality. Once I unpackaged the product I knew I had a winner.I have been in the medical field for right at 35 years, first as an Army medic and then as a Physician Assistant. I work in the ED and am very familiar with automatic blood pressure machines.I will say that for home use, this unit compares favorably with anything I've used. I especially like the comfortable high quality arm cuff. It comes in a nice sized case that you don't have to jam everything back into to get it to fit. It also has a separate memory function for two users. It's a nice feature and I could see taking it to the doctor's office to have the doctor quickly scroll through the last few months of BP readings that are time and date stamped to show any trends.One last thing, do not get a BP cuff that works on your wrist. They are basically worthless. This is the unit you want, just make sure you order the correct size cuff.

Product received with batteries corroded and the residue was all inside the bag. I would have returned it immediately except I badly needed it to monitor my husband who just had triple bypass surgery and had to be closely monitored. I cleaned up the mess and thankfully the product still functioned.

For some time now I have been tracking my BPM on this replacement monitor and thought I was pleased with the BPM health. I have been on and off medication for blood pressure and started a new exercise regimen and thought the results were working. Just recently I tried an Omron at my clinic and got drastically higher results. I was concerned so I bought an Omron and starting checking my BPM with both devices daily, and every day my diastolic and systolic are consistently lower on this Gurin or whatever it is called monitor. This is very disappointing as I feel I have been mislead and lured into thinking that my BPM was okay. I bought this Gurin because it was cheap and the reviews are raving. Gurin has sent me some offer to write a reviews and promised sending me a free gift in exchange. Didn't think much of it until now as I can't trust the readings and would not have made the initial purchase had the information online been more objective. I think a monitor that gives you misleading data is dangerous to your health. Luckily for me I found out but wonder how many of these devices are out there giving misleading data.

The title says it all. This blood pressure monitor is very nicely (solidly) built and seems quite accurate. The 2 user function is a bit clumsy. You have to hold down the power button to switch users so sometimes it can happen by accident. The entire unit is a wee bit on the heavy side. Other than that, I really have no criticism of this unit. Neither of those minor flaws deserve the loss of a full star but I cant quite give a perfect five.If you need a BP minotor and this is in your price range- go for it.

I was very happy to receive my Gurin Blood Pressure monitor (if you can be happy to get such an item) because I have HBP and needed to keep a check on it. I'm also a Nurse and I chose this one so my husband could use it as well. It's works great, quality great. I thought I was getting a large cuff but the med is all we need.

The meter is OK for the price, however it had some accuracy issues. In fairness, I have large arms and never could get the same readings as the DR's monitor. I ran into an issue with it turning itself on when in the storage sleeve. Sensitive button and little space left when zipped up.
