Lipper International Child's Toy Chest, 33.25" W x 17.75" D x 24.5" H, White

The address was given correctly but the shipper misread my address and there was difficulty in UPS delivering it. They tried 3 times but did not call the phone number given with it. When I realized that the item was late I called and made the correction and then it was delivered without difficulty. The product itself is very nice and exactly what we wanted. This inattention to detail caused me extra work and anxiety in the pre Christmas rush season.

Toy box won’t close. There’s a defect in the top piece that needs to be repaired. The item was delivered with a crack in the bottom support piece. We paid more for this than other toy boxes and thought it would be like other Lipper products we have ordered. We were wrong.

This is a decent mid-sized toy chest. Nothing special. You get a little storage for a little money. The safety hinges work well. Mine has a slightly warped top that doesn't sit completely flat when closed. The vent holes (for hide-and-seek) on the back are silly, since there's a long cut-out under the lid to help kids avoid pinched fingers, which in itself is a nice feature. Overall, if you need some extra storage in a child's room and aren't looking to win any interior design competitions, this chest will suit you fine.

This is excellent quality, easy for my 15 month old to open, close (and sometimes climb on)...NO SMASHED FINGERS...it is wonderful!!!

I was surprised at the flimsyness of this product. The sides are very thin. The pieces of the sides rattle. The lid is substantial, but I can't imagine anyone sitting on this.Also, our front piece arrived slightly damaged. Unfortunatly we don't have the time to return it.

The little metal "pegs" in each side of the lid(to let it go up and down) are very short and have apparently too much tension on them. One of them broke in two pieces in 2 weeks after we put the chest together, and the lid became non functional. I would not recommend it. Just not a good quality product in my estimation. The company from whom I purchased it (Plumstruck) did refund my payment in full and I did not have to pay shipping to return it. Lipper, the manufacturer, also would have sent free replacement parts, had I wanted them.

Very flimsy and lid came apart. Easy to assemble but very low quality. Even a child could not sit on this. I know it is a chest, but I hoped it could double as a bench. I am throwing it out as fixing the lid would not be worth it as it will fall apart again once subjected to my gentle 3 year old niece and could not hold anything but extremely lightweight toys.

This product is impossible to screw together with provided tools. It will leave you frustrated and you will not complete building it!Screws are too soft, the screwdriver tool doesn't fit well in a screw - there is no end result!Imagine returning this item - you don't want to have to go through with this.
