Great for running and nice look too.
These are bit less supporting than other CW-X tights, but still excellent (I am on the cusp of recommended S or M sizes so I just went S and they are fine). Have a LOT of CW-X product and they wear well and last a pretty long time (especially considering what one does while wearing them...running, skiing, biking, etc.). Have a couple of tights and shorts that are getting on 5 years.The one thing, and I am being sort of humorous here, with this color (and the accompanying shirt style) is maybe do not wear these when running during snow. You end up with a nice "10th Mountain Division Look" but will blend in with everything around you if you happen to fall or otherwise get hurt.

all the compression is in the waistband
As with every other tights I have tried, the compression is mainly in the waistband. With this particular brand, there is hardly any compression in the rest of the tights. I don't understand why every single producer thinks we need our intestines constricted. They can't comprehend the simple fact that tights won't fall down because they're TIGHTS -- they seem to think we need this super tight waist band to hold them up.
