I am rating this thing pretty negatively in spite of much to like about it.The major negative I have is the fact their is no way to install and connect this fan to use standard light switches to control the fan and light. I really wanted this and there is no indication on the product of this fact until you read the installation instructions.Otherwise, I likely would have given 4 stars.

Great fan beautiful style and quality and the remote is great to have.
