Comfy.
I used this product to make my slippers, which had worn out on the inside, more comfy. I hate the word "comfy". It is a granny-type word and should be used only by people who are over 60. I am only 56 but am going to break my rule and use the word "comfy" here because that's exactly what these insoles, both of them, make the slippers. Comfy, comfy, comfy. Now I seldom put on my shoes because they are nowhere near as comfy as my slippers. Admittedly I look a tad silly going up to town on the train in my slippers but when I notice someone staring at my feet I just saunter over to them and whisper "They're actually very comfy" and that person just smiles and nods their approval.

Love Them And My Feet Do Too.
I'm disabled and my faithful slipper boots were almost threadbare inside I had worn the fleece away so when I saw these I thought I may be able to save my much loved boots and I have, they fit a dream they don't stick to your sole when you take your shoes/boots off and better than the original fur soles. One happy lady thank you.

Reduce risk of runner’s blisters
An old hillwalkers trick is to find lambs wool maybe on some barbed wire or a hawthorn bush and scrumple it up before putting it in their boots if they feel a blister starting.Using a lambs wool insole in a running shoe has a similar effect. Definitely reduces the risk of blisters on a long run. Remember to buy a running shoe a size bigger to give room for the insoles.

Waste of money! Would not recommend
Not happy with this product at all! Tried to send it back, but had no communication with the driver who was picking the item up. So he’d turn up when I wasn’t in. Gave up in the end. But an absolute waste of money. Cheaply made sole with a sliver of fluff attached that they and as wool lining

Poor wear
I ordered these because the fluffy insole in my slippers had worn out and as a result had ceased to be warm. They were easy to cut to size with a pair of scissors and initially did the job very well. They did flatten very quickly and after only 2 months use the fluff has worn away completely in some places. I thought this would be an economical way of extending the life of my slippers but at this rate of wear that is not the case.

Great value and good fit.
This is the second time I've ordered these insoles because they're just perfect for what I need. The first pair went into a pair of winter boots and were ideal as the thickness is just right, not too thick and not too flimsy. This later order (2x pairs), one lot are to be put into a much loved, very comfortable pair of slipper mules that have gone a bit threadbare and needed some maintenance, again just right for the purpose. (The other spare pair for anything else that might need them at a later date.)They are very easily washed, either by hand or machine, and to keep them from going flat, I use a teasel Mohair brush when dry to bring back the fluffy pile.

Thinner than I expected
Maybe I was spoilt before as the pair I had previously was a lot thicker than these, so I naively expected these to be the same.Don't get me wrong, as a comfy insole they meet the requirements, but I bought these specifically to stop the cold coming up through the bottom of some work boots as my other half spends a lot of time standing on cold surfaces.I put them in his boots on Tuesday evening with the promise they would solve the issue of the cold, but then when he came back on Wed after spending 13 hours standing on cold concrete, in Jan, he reported that whilst it was a little better, his feet were still frozen and painful.I've put a pair in my slippers as well and can honestly say that I've not noticed much of an improvement in warmth either. I'm sitting here now in fact & can feel the cold in my toes. So, whereas I hoped for a woolly miracle, I'm sorry to report it did not meet my expectations.I'm giving the item 4 stars, as it is well made & fairly true to size, but knocked a star off as the wool layer seems very short or thin so isn't very effective against cold floors. If you usually have warm feet these will probably be quite effective, but if you have naturally cold feet or poor circulation, they may be too thin to be of benefit.

Very Disappointed
One insole came with a rough burr in the middle of the insole, removing it would have created a hole so unable to use. The pair I did use wore within 2 weeks and one of the insoles moved around a lot so was often uncomfortable and needed putting back in to place. I didn’t use these straight away so unable to return. I have ordered these before and had no problem but maybe from a different seller as these came loose and last time they came packaged not that it mattered.
