Love this study guide. I plan on purchasing more like this

I received and earlier edition as evidenced by a different cover. The contents are the same as the new edition so I was able to use the small group I participate in.

Great tool to go through the book of acts and learn a lot especially historical background. Good discussion questions as well. Personal application questions were general and not directed enough for my taste…

I used this Bible Study material while I served as a chaplain in Afghanistan. In fact, we only finished about half of the book before I needed to redeploy and the remaining attendees begged me to find a new teacher so they could finish the study.What they really liked was the "fill in the blank" format, but even more, the questions asked one to think and gave lots of room for a person to respond. This is true of the LifeChange curriculum and of course studying a book like "Acts" is so exciting. Taking a look at the early church is so interesting. The author/editors did a great job of topically catagorizing the chapters. It was, for the most part, chronological BUT when it made sense to study sections from several chapters in Acts that had the same theme, it was presented that way. As a long-time Bible Study teacher, the material provided insight that I had not thought of before.Great Stuff!!

If you want an in-depth study on any book of the bible, this series is a fantastic option! So many bible studies geared toward women are based on emotion, and tend to stay on the surface of things. This series is great for really getting deep into the book as a whole and looking at things intellectually from a new perspective. I feel like I have a much better understanding of the book of Acts, especially from a historical standpoint. Highly recommend.

Great book! There are the study questions and the questions for going deeper depending on how much time you or the group have, but still everyone can finish without others needing more to do as deep as they want. So far lots of life changing leading questions, but you have to want to do the work.

Very detailed lessons on the Book of Acts. Studying this with others, including fellowship and prayer.

It's ok

Got this for running a small group Bible study on Acts, for which it seems very suitable. Some other study notes start from the assumption "Acts is all about X" and then pursue "What can we learn about X from Acts?", whereas this seems more inclined to be led by the source material. It does, of course, pay for the group leader to have prepared beforehand and not just to blindly read everything out

I order 16 copies of this book for a group study and it arrived 4 days earlier. I love the print. It is the usual helpful quality study guide from Navpress. I can't wait to begin studying it in the group.
