The Wiersbe Bible Study Series: Hebrews: Live by Faith, Not by Sight

I cannot say enough good things about this commentary. Easy to read and understand. The author does not expect you to have a knowledge of Greek or Hebrew. These two volumes are not based on the KJV which uses language over 400 years old.If you want to go deeper in your study of God's Word, these are for the college graduate and high school graduate. Don't need a degree in Theology or Divinity to understand Dr Wiersbe.These are worth more than what I paid for them. Every preacher would do well to own this set as well.Buy these before you buy any other commentary!You will not be disappointed .

I used this book to help me learn and understand the Bible better.

I am becoming a real fan of Wiersbe's "Be" series of commentaries and these application-focused Bible studies, such as this one on the Bible book of Hebrews. This study book is great for personal growth as well as for use in group studies (it's designed for groups to use). It pulls from his Hebrews commentary, provides explanations of words and concepts in the context of the day, and asks thought-provoking questions to help us apply what we're learning to our daily Christian life.I'm also very glad that these series are available for cheaper purchase to read on my Kindle and my PC (using the free Kindle app). I'm going to choose another set (study book and commentary) to read!

The study is recommended for small group, but I also recommend it for personal study. The references from “Be Confident” were very appropriate and helpful. I agree with the logic and theological doctrines presented. The book challenges one to keep the faith.

Don't buy this unless you also purchase Wiersbe's "Be Confident". That advice is dispensed from the first page of the study guide, but if, like me, you just want it for a personal devotional, you won't have that information until the book arrives from Amazon. It is greatly disheartening to find out I have to purchase another companion book to get the most out of the study. It is a frustratingly common business practice in the Christian publishing arena. Either package them both together and double the price, or leave out the references to the book I do not have!And will not buy.I regret and confess that this distraction has caused me to focus on the ways of man more than on the Word of God. That's going to stop right now.Amen.

This book will help you in your walk with the Lord. I love all of these books in these series.

An excellent study of the Book of Hebrews. Made for single or group study

This was redundant to the "Be" study of Hebrews I used. A lot of repetition so I didn't use it. I guess it could be used as a supplement in a group study but I didn't find it useful.Wiersbe's "Be Confident" study of Hebrews is excellent for personal study.

The book is excellent but I ordered the wrong item, so it wasn't what I really wanted . I thought I was ordering the Be book on Hebrews.

An excellent guide to Hebrews

As usual, an excellent study by Warren Wiersbe. Full of wisdom and insight.
