This is a 2nd set, different brand I am trying. I really like the grip on this one. Besides great adhesive tape it does hold a regular size, terry kitchen towel. Ours are 12x24 & no problem at all.

I bought a couple of these to hold towels in my kitchen. They installed in a a flash by removing adhesive backing and sticking it on the wall. I have had them about 2 months and they show no signs of coming off the wall. They work really well, as just poke the end of my towel in the middle of the four flaps, remove my finger, and it grabs the towel and holds it.I have no complaints, although i do wonder how long the "4 flaps" will retain their shape and keep the "grabbiness".

Like I said this hook is very easy to use and it fits all different kinds of towels.
