Very pretty
The shutter dogs worked perfectly and were easy to install. I did repaint the screws with black enamel paint because they rusted a bit from turnig them.

Look and Work Great
Look great and work wonderfully , be careful not to screw them in to far at first. And if possible have "deadwood" installed in new construction for a secure mount. We live in a Hurricane prone area, so nice not to have to put up plywood. And EVERYBODY love the look with the handmade shutters.

Amazing
Amazing!!!!and the seller is great to work with! Adds loads of curb appeal and I would highly recommend this product. Purchase this product instead of others.... I made the mistake of purchasing from another seller and received plastic shutter dogs!? No thanks! This product is iron and beautiful (FYI- if you do not like the shininess of the metal, then spray with a matte black paint.)

Good, but already rusting a bit.
Finally put these up mid fall and noticed when hanging Christmas decor that there is already a bit of rust on the bolt heads.Will need to wait til spring to sand and paint.Disappointed that I already need to do a 'repair.'

Good value for the money
As pictured. I painted these with eggshell black to match my faux hinges and shortened the bolts. Nice system for keeping the bolt and shutter dog properly spaced. Good value

Love our shutter dogs!
We are so happy with our shutter dogs and have received so many compliments from our neighbors. They are very well made and sturdy. Glad we made the purchase!

Rusted
Ok for the price but as other users said, the bolt rusts after just a few days of exposure to the elements.

They Look Good
These dressed up the shutters we recently put on the house. They are a nice glossy black and stand out against the green shutters. We did not however use the included screws, we spray painted the heads of some wood screws and screwed the dogs into the shutters directly as my exterior stone work is difficult and uneven. You cannot even tell they are not installed "traditionally" unless you look close. If you do not need functional shutters dogs these are perfect and the price was great.
