Initially, I was disappointed. Now, things have changed for the better (read latest review)
I was so excited to get this item, until I put both gloves on and realized they grip on them looks totally different between the two gloves. One is black, while the other is gray and stained. Really irritated as I wanted to use them today. Once I get my replacement item I will update my review. So far the grip feels good, now just have to wait a few more days to get the new pair.UPDATE: New pair arrived STAINED, this time both gloves look stained and used. I'm so frustrated! I've already missed a week's worth of yoga, if I wasn't desperate to get back I'd send both pairs back for a refund. Disappointed in the quality of the product, although the do grip and provide some traction, I'm not happy with the stains at all. Fortunately for the company there are few gloves like these in the market, therefore I'll make the best pair out I'd the two I have and send the other back.UPDATE TO THE UPDATE (1/29/2018): I made this purchase a few weeks ago, and as you can see from my previous initial and updated reviews, I wasn't satisfied with my purchase. Today, that all changed.I received a complimentary pair of YogaPaws directly from the company. I had NO IDEA they were being sent to me, and was shocked to open the package and find not only a new pair, but a hand-written thank-you card apologizing for the previous two pairs. This pair wasn't stained at all, but the card that they provided me said that staining is normal at first and that with washing and continued use it should dissipate as these are rubber gloves (similar to staining you see on rubber made yoga mats, I will be testing this soon). Not only was the customer service from YogaPaws personal, it assures me that they are committed to gaining customers and keeping them, even when customers aren't satisfied/aren't happy with their purchases. The product itself is working great so far, they have helped limit the numbness occurring in my hands during my practice, and after all of this, I can absolutely say I am satisfied with my purchase and this company!

No wrist support and very little padding
The amount of padding in the hands is pretty negligible. And unfortunately they provide zero wrist support so these don’t help me at all at pilates. Will be looking to buy another product.

LOVE!
I'm glad I went ahead and bought these gloves. I'd tried everything to keep from slipping around my mat, but nothing worked to my satisfaction. YogaPaws were instrumental in helping me master Bakasana/Crow pose. Now I'm on to other arm balances. The grip is amazing and gives you the confidence to do arm balances without slipping. I purchased the xsmall size, and I thought I'd made a mistake. They do fit snug at first, but they'll loosen and mold to your hands. Make sure you measure your hands though! Thanks, YogaPaws.

Full hand coverage without bulkiness
My wrists and fingers have been causing me increasing pain as I get older. As I love yoga and Pilates, I refuse to cease practicing planks and upward dogs, etc. I've tried folding over my mat, grabbing a ball of socks in each hand, and relied on my fists - not a good substitute, I understand. So I tried two different brands of gloves, but they didn't protect my wrists, didn't fit comfortably, and the cushioning hit my hands in the wrong spots. Last try, I went for YogaPaws, and success! They're easy to put on wo a lot of tugging. The padding (not too little, nor too much) starts before the wrist joint and extends just past the base of the fingers. It's just enough padding to ease me through the sequences. Afterward, I walk into the shower and rinse them off. Truly I'm grateful.

Yoga on the go or outside...MUST BUY
Absolutely LOVE these for my yoga practice. I travel alot and am outside all the time, always looking for new places to practice or try out a yoga pose. Its not always easy or convenient carrying your yoga mat with you everywhere. These yoga gloves are perfect for on the go. They feel exactly like a yoga mat on your hands and feet. The grip is perfect on hard and soft surfaces. If you dont have a sticky mat and dont want to spend the $$$ on a new one, these are exactly what you want and no need for that towel that constantly moves and bunches.I bought the Elite that has a little more extra padding and so glad I did. I have to admit, when my friend told me I should try yoga paws since I am always doing yoga outside, I was unsure if I would even use them or even like them....to my surprise, I am a huge fan and carry them with me every where. Definitely a must buy if you do yoga on the go. You will not be disappointed.

very comfortable
First let me start by saying I just received these YogaPaws Elite padded yoga gloves yesterday. I used them for my HIIT workout (burpees) and my yoga workout out. They are amazing! I love the padding and nonslip grip I got while doing burpees, planks, etc on my hardwood floor. I also have extremely sweaty hands which makes holding poses very difficult with all the sliding around. These gloves kept me in place and were very comfortable. If anything changes I will update my review but for now they are great!

Great Yoga Mat Replacement
I have been using Yoga Paws for several years. Well made product and very functional. I use them every day for my practice and they help provide grip when doing yoga on surfaces other than a mat (for example, hotel room carpet, etc.). I have bought a few pairs over the years so that I can keep a pair stowed in my suitcase and one for home. My wife uses them as well. Great product, the company has sales and promos periodically, so you can get the a little cheaper if you are on their mailing list.

Works for non slippage but not for wrist issues or support.
I bought these because I have a previous wrist injury and throught the padding might help me when doing plank or chaturangas. They probably work well for what they are actually intended for, but not wrist issues. Fit wasn't spectacular. I don't like that the top of them digs into my wrist crease. Also the webbing seemed too long for my fingers even though I used the measurement chart. If you are looking to use this for outdoors or no mat, they will work. If you are trying to find something to help with your wrists ... I've yet to find the product. I think if they made one with some wedge padding and wrist support then I would buy it in one size down which would be their smallest size. For reference I am 5'3 and ordered the second size.
