Nostalgia at the finest 👌
Somebody stoled my dad's old typewriter recently and it was his favorite instrument to write his notes. I got him this for Christmas and he love it. No issues what-so-ever. Arrived in mint condition and brings me memories of the early 2000s too. The typing is in excellent quality and the keys are not squishy nor do they get stuck. They are fluid as modern keyboards and are easy to read. We like the font it came with and the eraser feature works flawlessly. After typing a while, we both can read the fonts on paper clearly, and we love the typing sound it makes!

Nakijima WP 150 Typewriter
I love this because I only have a tablet-no PC anymore. There are things you have to type. I paid $220. before Christmas when I saw it was on sale which is ok, but it hurts. Before you start typing, take your time and open up the top of the writer, because there is a rectangular block of styrofoam under there, and you'll never get it out by trying to pull it out! I could not lift the lid up initially, and was afraid to put much pressure on it. It finally lifted up, & I could remove the styrofoam. Read the Manual that comes with it. As another reviewer said, the ink was bad when he got his. That happened to me before I read the manual and it was because you Must Remove The Plastic Piece Attached To The Ink Cartridge before typing. After I did that, I was a typing fool! It is a great machine and it came in perfect condition in it's own box which was also in a shipping box. I recommend this typewriter; it is lightweight, compact and easy to use.

It has an abundance of special characters that are useful and clearly read
'Got this one 'cause old Smith Corona finally died. This typewriter is a suitable replacement. After reading the real clear, explicit instructions packed with a power-cord, and packed well I might add, I discovered why the S.C. died. I turned it off at the switch on the typewriter itself, but did not unplug it, as instructed. Evidently, the power switch on the typewriter is a short term affair, and instruction I did not heed with the S.C.(Probably burnt up A.C./D.C. converter) 'Won't happen again. This one can do all I need to type thick invoices to customers for my small(tiny) business, but business nevertheless, and a professional look is necessary and the "150" gives it. You know a typewriter has a certain rhythm and this one's got soul, Japanese soul. Some half-tones. It has an abundance of special characters that are useful and clearly read. For the money it has so many useful features, I'm overwhelmed. An excellent buy. Don't forget to unplug!

Very easy to use and well-constructed.
Great basic electric typewriter! I ordered for my 89 year old father who loves to type checks and various correspondence. He was so happy with its features and ease of use!

Poor Return Policy
I bought this typewriter for my 88 year old mother as she thought that it would be easier for her to use a typewriter instead of her computer due to having typed for most of her life. It turned out that the keys were too small for her to see and the ribbon was old, so the typed words were blue not black. Because it didn't work for her, I did the return option and my sister packed the typewriter up in it's original box and sent it back to the company. I paid $293 for it including shipping and was only refunded $195 once it was returned. Now I know that my mom had to use it to see if it worked, but charging me almost $100 for shipping and the minimal amount of use that it would have had is a bit out of line. I would not recommend anyone to buy this product if you even think that you might have to return it. They decide how much you get back based on what is considered "In Original Condition" to them. How would you know that if it even worked if you don't try it? The return options were limited and there wasn't one for a person not being able to use it properly.

Typewriter for minimalists
This typewriter is basic and easy to use. It’s not a word processor but will make corrections. Made of plastic. Mine arrived with a bent daisy wheel due to the correction tape having been installed wrong at the factory. Seller wouldn’t replace the daisy wheel, so rather than go through the hassle of repacking, returning, and waiting for a replacement which might very well have something wrong with it too, I just bought a new daisy wheel elsewhere and fixed it myself. If you just want to type envelopes, labels, and forms, this machine will do it. If you want a substantial machine, you’ll have to spend a lot more. This one is overpriced for its flimsy construction and cheap materials.
