I got these because my dermatologist said that I had to protect my arms from additional sun damage. The sleeves are very thin, and I am slightly dubious of the claim that they block over 99% of the UV light. I got the white ones, and they pass at least blue light quite easily. Still, they provide much better protection than the sunscreen I usually forget to apply or reapply every 90 minutes.The sleeves themselves are very lightweight and comfortable. I have fairly large arms and the sleeves stretch enough for me. They are tightest around the biceps, and for me they are just short of being too tight. They are very stretchy and probably really are one-size-fits all except for people with huge muscles and those who are very obese.On hot, sunny days they seem to make my arms feel cooler. On the other hand, I have slipped them on at the office to warm up when the air conditioning was making it too cool.I like these sleeves for driving, yardwork, and when I walk to work.

I was a bit hesitant to order these as I thought they would cause more sweat and feel warm. I'm happy to say that my arms actually feel cooler than not wearing them at all. They fit snug and blend well with any color tee shirt or polo shirt. These are much better than a long sleeve shirt as they don't restrict airflow to the armpits through the short sleeves on the shirt. I use these sleeves while watching tennis matches under the scorching sun confined to an outdoor stadium chair. I don't need to apply messy sunscreen every 2 hours anymore! Once I purchased and started wearing these sleeves, I started to notice some of the professional tennis linesmen wearing them too.I can't speak to the durability as I haven't used them enough to see any signs of wear.PROS:* Lightweight* Cooling* Comfortable* No sunscreen neededCONS:* Noticeable for the first 5 min after putting them on... but then feel like a second skin.These sleeves are a great value at less than $20 for two pairs. There are similar products that cost more, but they don't provide any additional features. I would highly recommend these sleeves to anyone who spends a significant amount of time in the sun. I use these sleeves in conjunction with  4 Panel Large Bill Flap Hat  to provide sun protection for my face, ears, and neck.

The shipment was quick and it kept me posted during the entire shipping process. It is one size fit all so it was a bit short for my pre-teen daughter because her arms do not stretch them out. It works well on my husband though.After the first time my husband wore his, it got a hole on one of the sleeves and it did not even got it caught on something. Mine got a lot of lint (like on old blanket) on one edge after the first use. I like the idea and they do work ok. Not so sure about the quality.

Was skeptical that I'd feel cooler with coverings on my arm bit I do. I use these when riding my bike. The combination of them reflecting the sun away and evaporation really helps keep my arms cool. I've used them for several hours without sunblock on my arms and they do protect from sunburn.The fit is good. The are very stretchy. I'm 6'2" with moderately big arms and they are not too tight. When I first put them on I notice the upper band constricting on my bicep. After a few minutes this was forgotten. On removal they didn't leave an impression so I'd say the fit is just right.I can't understand why people pay 2 - 4 times as much for a better known brand when these are about perfect.

I bought this pair especially to block UV to play golf. I had to wear long sleeve clothes or jacket to blocked sunlight, since I am prone to skin cancer because of medication effect . It seems very effectively blocking UV because I can see different skin color,less tanned. It also give nice cooling effect when exposed to hot temperature.I can play golf better with this sleeves. My wife wear this when she drive car to protect her arms from sun, she likes it very much.It fit well to my arms.It is inexpensive to me. I recommend everyone who work outside or expose to sun for long.

These compression sun sleeves feel nice and snug on forearms but cut off my circulation at the top of my arms. They fit sooo tight that I have a red mark after I take them off. I even tried cutting slits around the top to see if it gave my arm more room but it did not. I would not recommend these for anyone who has muscular upper arms... only skinny arms will fit these!!

Have worn these the last three times that I have played golf. With temperatures over ninety degrees they keep my arms relatively cool. Comfortable to wear and worth the price.

I spend most of my days in the sun. SO, I own several brands of arm sleeves. Some have fallen apart quickly. I've worn these three times and here's what I think: 1) They fit. Some slip down my arms, but these stay snug around my biceps. 2) The material is solid, firm, sturdy. Some I've owned are too thin. They are definitely 'thicker' than some, but not exceedingly so. 3) The price was great. For two pairs this was a very reasonable purchase. If anything changes about these (they start falling apart, etc.), I will quickly edit this review and change my rating. If they continue to last and work well, that too will be noted.

I like that they wash out with water only. They are easy to put on and give a cooling effect.
