Clicgear Umbrella Angle Adjuster Mount and Rovic Golf Push Carts

Using the Clicgear Umbrella mount on Clicgrear 4.0 I found it is the perfect height for viewing the fairway in front of you while your walking as well as providing consistent shade from the Texas sun throughout the game. The umbrella holder is sturdy and does not shift around and allows you to have easy mobility of the cart. So far very happy with the product.

This is a great addition to the Clicgear cart. I have a Model 8 and I’m 5’8” so the standard umbrella holder puts the bottom of the umbrella just over my head - barely. This holder adds height and also allows you to adjust so can have the handle at the right height and still keep the umbrella level. Now for a few negatives. It is heavy - this is a substantial piece and you’ll need to store it in your bag or trunk as it doesn’t clip to your cart. It doesn’t work with the GPS holder unless you really crank down on screwing it down. I’m not sure that’s a long-term solution. Having an umbrella over your head as you walk on hot summer days is awesome and makes the round more bearable. I use this every time I play golf.

I bought this for my daughter on the hopes it would fit her Sun Mountain push cart as their holder is currently out of stock. The threads fit perfectly and it even fits the plastic "holders" underneath the cart for storage. Overall, this umbrella is a great piece and seems quite solid. The fact that it has the ability to adjust is even better. To those that leave a negative review/star because it doesn't securely hold the umbrella during a storm are probably using it wrong. It's not designed to get you through a round of golf (or out on a walk) during an intense storm. It's meant to shade you from the sun or keep you dry in a light rain. It handles and holds in place light breezes just fine

I walk, our courses all of the time and here in SC the sun can get to be hateful, so I went searching for an umbrella to plug into my Clicgear 3.0 cart. Ordered and received the genuine Clicgear branded umbrella. Put the umbrella in my holder and immediately realized why this adjustable holder is an accessory with Clicgear. Without this adjustable holder the umbrella leaned forward so far I was not going to be able to see where I was walking. So, I ordered this adjustable holder. This adjustable holder fixes the leaning umbrella problem and I see where it will give me plenty of options should I want to move the umbrella while walking the golf course. Which I really do not ever see doing. I could go 5-star on this but the whole "I Love It" rating is goofy to me and ........ I am a little miffed with the Clicgear design flaw that requires this adjustable holder to be necessary. The holder that comes with the cart should not need to be replaced to use an umbrella. ALSO ... the adjustment handle on the one I received is grey in color. I saw a review that stated red was the only color so I thought I would toss that in here.

This umbrella holder works great, torques down onto the cart well, and will still swivel without loosening it, which comes in handy when you need to direct the umbrella over your seat accessory on your card to make a perfect resting spot while you’re waiting for all those slow golfers. I am 6‘3“ tall, and with my hat on, probably a little taller. I use two of the spacers to lift the umbrella high enough that I do not have to duck under it. Buy this thing...it’s at least 15° cooler on a summer day under your umbrella! And BTW, it clicks on to that little C clamp under the left side of the cart’s push handle. Stop using that to hold a golf ball, it is for your umbrella holder, dummy!

Way cool option for angling your clicgear umbrella. Just as bonus info for my friends at clicgear - I purchased the black clicgear umbrella, 68inch, and the best part, the umbrella handle fits absolutely perfect into the cylinder. With the wind up, the rubber handle on the umbrella and the perfect diameter receiving tube, the cohesion between the two, creates a strong bond. What a difference it is to have clicgear products such as the angle adjuster. To be able to guard against the blowing mist is one of the problems on the course I remember as the most frustrating. However, having this option, and one that looks cools also, will make my rainy day just a bit dryer. It is difficult not to notice when one player has the appropriate equipment for the need when it arises. Inspector gadget golfing must have, in my book. I have saved the reorder just in case I lose it.

My husband has used a Clicgear 3.0 push cart for several years. The one thing he has never liked about it is that the standard umbrella holder is too short. Someone of average or better height who values their eyesight will spend much of the round making sure they don't poke themselves in the face when getting under the umbrella. This mount extends the height to give golfers of average height a little extra room. Coupled with the Clicgear umbrella, he no longer has to stoop.

Recommendation: If you are in a part of the country where windy conditions are minimal, this adjustable umbrella holder will probably work for you. If windy conditions persist you may want to give careful thought. See my thoughts below. This is a good umbrella holder to replace the standard umbrella holder that came with your Clicgear golf cart. This will adjust / articulate your umbrella to an orientation to suit your needs. In my humble opinion, this should be the Clicgear "standard" umbrella holder (a bit pricey to purchase what should be standard) for all Clicqear carts since altering the position of the golf cart handle. High handle position would tilt umbrella forward, level handle position would keep umbrella level. Again, using the standard umbrella holder and depending which position you place the handle could alter your umbrella angle to a less than desirable position (see pics and my review on Clicgear 3.5 golf cart). Hence, the adjustable holder may seem desirable, however under windy conditions (10 - 20 mph) you still have to be continually aware of the position of your umbrella. If you are into the wind you just deal with the wind resistance. If you pick up the tail wind and you have the umbrella tilted forward could end up having your cart topple over, this happened to me just using the standard umbrella holder and the double canopy UV umbrella (this was also returned). In my opinion, under routine windy conditions the umbrella holder will undergo a fair amount of stress and wear. Hence, the stress points and wear and tear may add to problems with cinching down the adjustment knobs after time. Personally, I have opted to not use a UV umbrella (separate review on Clicgear Double canopy umbrella) and will use other means to deal with sun (Frogg Toggs cooling towel, mister).

Fungerat bra att nyttja för paraplyet. Enkel montering för av/på. Håller paraplyet bra och säkert även vid lite blåst. Bra att den går att ta bort helt från vagnen när behovet inte finns då den annars blivit skrymmande att ha över tid. Bra justeringsmöjligheter för vinkel o.s.v.
