These have been awesome for our puppy!

I have just gotten it and I plan on using one for a senior dog that is having some issues, but I got it for a puppy as well, and he was shredding the regular pads. These he has chewed on and no rips at all. He used it a few times and I cannot tell it was used. It just gets soaked up so quickly. I haven't washed it just yet but I don't plan on drying it. I have it on carpet so not sure of staying power on hard floors.

These are the perfect waterproof protectors for poor old Riley. He is a twelve year old Boxer that wets his bed when he sleeps. I made sure his beds all had washable covers, and I waterproofed the inside with extra large plastic bags. At first the dribbles were a small amount, and I could wash his bed once a week or so. As the problem got worse, I was taking his beds apart and washing them every single day. What a nuisance, and the frequent washing was wearing out his expensive beds prematurely.The solution to Riley's problem is these pads and a towel. He has a memory foam Pet Fusion bed with bumpers around the edges. I put a heavy duty plastic bag over the memory foam for extra protection with a towel on top to soak up accidents so they don't run off the plastic. On the outside of the bed is a Ruff and Ruffus washable pee pad that is tucked under the bumpers with a towel on top, also tucked under the bumpers. The pee pad stays in place for the whole night to protect his bed. The towel is usually wadded up and pulled aside in the morning because it is wet. It has been three nights and I haven't had to take his bed apart to wash it. The pee pads do an excellent job of protecting his bed. They are just stiff enough to stay in place, and pliable enough to be tucked under the bumpers. The reason I put a towel on top of them is that they don't soak up a large volume of liquid fast enough to keep it from puddling and running off if it is close to the edge of the pad. They do a good job of wicking moisture away from the surface so it stays dry, and controlling the odor. I don't wake up in the morning with my bedroom stinking of urine any more. It is so much easier to just strip the covers off the surface of his bed and replace them as needed. I am sure he is happier, too. I have only washed one pad once, but it came out of the dryer looking the same as the other one. I just ordered four more pee pads and another Pet Fusion bed for the living room. I will update my review after I have had the pee pads a while so I can see how they hold up to frequent washing. The reason for only four stars is that I am not sure how well these would work as a pee pad for a little dog to wet on, because of the absorbancy problem. For my needs, they are definitely worth five stars if they hold up to frequent washing.

UPDATE! It's been over THREE YEARS since we bought these and they are still in great shape. They really last! This is with daily use and constant laundering. Still love these things!We live in a high-rise apartment and wanted something indoors for training our two small puppies. We tried several different things, including the "grass" pads. We found these Ruff n Ruffus puppy pads to be the best. Because our puppies are small and were getting use to the pads, I used some 3/4" pipe around the edges to hold them in place, as you can see in the photos. These work great. I'm sure in time, as the puppies are more use to the mats, I can even get rid of the pipes.The pads are super easy to clean, just toss in the wash. No matter how soiled they get, they always come out very clean. We bought 3 packs (6 pads) so we always have clean pads on hand. This was the first solution that actually worked for us.My only suggestion, is they should make some pads with a "grass" print, for helping in training. The pads we bought were the closest to green grass, but they really should just make some with a green grass print. I know dogs are color blind and all, but it would perhaps still add to the overall impact for training them to go on grass.Another idea for the manufacturer would be to place heavy magnets in each corner and sell a pack of four metal sheet corners. This could help keep the pads in place, but still be washable.

I purchased these pads to use while potty training our new puppy. I place one in her crate and have the other as a backup. The pads are more comfortable than I thought they’d be. They are well made and wash up nicely.

Used these for my puppy with her collapsible pen, they worked great!

I have a 20 year old kitty who has a difficult time getting in the litter box so I have to make sure his box is low profile. He also has a tendency to stand close to the edge when he pees and it goes right over the edge. I've been using disposable pads under the box but they're expensive and his feet get caught up on them so I needed to find a better way.These washable pee pads are awesome! They're big enough to leave a good amount of pad around the litter box and they have little traction paws on the bottom that keep it from moving around when he walks on it. They wash up nicely and I had no problem drying them on low heat. I also appreciate the fact that they're a pretty teal color that doesn't show any pee when it's on the pad and they are very absorbent.I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend these washable pee pads to anyone who needs a super absorbent, well constructed , waterproof pad.

These are great if your fur babies are inside trained.
