Value purchase from the "Land of the Not Quite Right"
As a veteran of years of travel to Asia I have learned to refer to many of the products from the region as "Good, but not quite right". From years of bringing back various products to family and friends, we have laughingly referred to many of these items as "coming from the land of the not quite right." This is the case with this belt. Since I received it I have worn it many times. However, the buckle is on the wrong side and there is no way to modify this. Even so, it does keep my work pants in place, although it is not quite right.

Does its job great.
I bought two of these belts in June. Not much was expected, but I had to give them a try. The belts and buckles delivered a fantastic surprise by far exceeded the sales pitch and even the five-star reviews. They adjust easily and hold fast. The buckles have not fallen off (as they have in other brands I threw my money on). The belts itself is made of strong material and will last many years. The metal buckle holds the belt firm and opens when you want it to. Here's the kicker to this late review - I liked the two belts I ordered in June that I am now ordering four more. That's how satisfied I am with this product. One more point, these belts are not formal wear, but they more than perform for casual and work wear.

Nice belt for a reasonable price
I purchased two 2-packs for the different colors. The belts arrived with no issues. The belt is quite long out of the package and would easily fit a 42-inch waist with little alteration. I am a 34-inch waist, so I used scissors to cut the belt at a 90-degree angle and then pried off the metal clasp end. The clasp end was easily squeezed back on to the cut end of the belt to complete the finished (shorter) belt. Very simple process and you can custom fit the belt to any waist size. I was concerned that that the metal clasp buckle would scratch, but have had no issues after one month. The belt does not stretch...it is solid canvas. The belt looks casual or can be used with dress pants. Highly recommend this purchase.

Very Nice for the price.
A few things keep these belts from being 5 stars. I have found the buckle doesn't do a really great job holding the non-tipped part of the belt in place like more traditional military style buckles do, and those traditional military buckles are also easier to use to secure the belt in the buckle. Also, these belts are slightly wider than other canvas belts I've bought making it a little tougher at times to get the belt through certain belt loops both when putting the belt on and when taking it off. Otherwise, the canvas is nice and sturdy, the variety of colors is outstanding and I do like the way the buckle snaps closed.

An Infinitely Adjustable Belt
A funny thing happened on my way to this purchase. My father had asked me to go to the local 'Army and Navy' store to pick up some web belts for him. I had previously used this kind of belt in my youth due to its adjustability, but somewhere along the line moved to the braided leather belts. The local store sold the webbing and clasps separately. Their webbing was in 40" and 60" lengths, which then could be cut down to your preferred size. I don't remember the exact price, but it wasn't 2 for $8. The quality of this webbing and clasp were up to par, so it's a all around good deal.To size, I wrapped the belt around me and marked the spot where the buckle should go after allowing for ~4" to extend from the clasp after closure. I cut the webbing with a razor knife but a pair of sharp scissors should work. I also used a lighter to heat the cut area in order to re-seal it. That worked well, as there appears to be some nylon on the inside. Don't hold me to that claim, though. I've tried doing the same on pure cotton belts, and all they do is burn. The seal isn't necessary as the cut portion will be on the underside of the buckle anyway. The bottom line is that it's a good deal if you're looking for cheap, fully adjustable belts. The closures are the clam shell type instead of the locking bar/pin style. The clam shell closure is so much easier and more accurate.

Horrible.
OK so to be perfectly honest I purchased this belt for an entirely different purpose than holding up a pair of pants. I bought this belt to use on my desk chair to solve a problem that I am having with the chair, causing loss of skin on the back of my thighs and it just hurts and burns badly. Let me explain.I own a very expensive desk chair, the Nightingale CXO 6200 hd. The chair is about 10 years old now and still in good usable condition except for this problem currently going on. I don't wish to spend another $1100 dollars on a chair. So my plan is to cut this fabric in equal lengths and attach the two pieces to each other as a double layer using some contact adhesive. Once the material has fully dried I plan to attach it to the chair in the same fashion where the cushion meet this hard plastic lip of the cushion basin. Over the years I have kind of compressed the cushion on the edge of the chair and as it compresses it slices my legs. Think of it as putting a bumper guard on the chair. A band-aid. A barrier. I think this will add years of useSo why the poor rating? Well, upon receipt of this belt I opened it up and had a look, and then I closed the buckle and I can't get the darn thing to open again! That's crazy. What is a guy to do if using as a belt, needing to take care of certain duties and then not being able to get the buckle open? Nope, not a good experience to have but as luck seldom happens for me, it might work for MY needs.

Very well made
This belt is great quality. The material is thick and sturdy and will last years and years, and for my use decades! The buckle is strong and there is no slipping on the belt. I really like the adjustable length. I’m using this belt to wear a 3 pound sword. The belt is very comfortable and does not shift around on my waist and the length holds firm in the buckle. I couldn’t be happier.

No more pants on the ground
Bought for the other half and he is more than pleased with this belt. It's well made and the automatic buckle works great. Other belts are thick and cause pressure on the lower back, this one is thinner but not too thin to affect quality and does not put added pressure on back. The colour said navy and it is navy. I will no doubt be ordering him another in the coming months. There are a number of colour choices to match your wardrobe.Quick shipping, price was right and exactly as described by seller.

Good product - quick delivery - quite happy with it.
Wore one of mine for the first time yesterday - felt it was excellent in all regards, except one - the metal 'tab' at the end I found quite difficult to thread through the belt loops - perhaps if it was pointed or the corners rounded it would be easier. Also, I would like to have a sliding loop to hold the excess length, but that's not really critical - just would be handy.

Good mechanism, durable material, very good value
Love the material (durable and comfortable). The buckle type is easy to handle (it's a flip closure, I think it's called). It seems very durable, but I've had it for only a couple of months so far. Definitely recommend it.It comes with very generous extra length, so you'll probably want to edit it's length to your comfort as soon as you try it on.Not super obvious where to loosen the strap in order to cut, but look inside(open) the buckle flip-closure, and see where the strap is attached; there's another clamp there and it needs a bit of strength to open because it's quite short for a grip.Mark, snip, burn/melt the cut end (if you've never used fire with fabric, this is part synthetic so heating up the ends curls the fibres... just don't burn it to the point of catching fire), and then reclamp the end back as straight as you can manage.

Simple Belts that will Last a While
I can't say I am a person with a lot of taste in terms of belts and rather want something that just works (holding up my pants!). I like how you can cut these belts to the length you want and then take a lighter and heat up the end so it does not fray and you are done! I like the simplicity of these buckles and if you have not tried out belts like these I would urge you to.
