Excellent product for a quick makeover when you feel your hair's looking far too white, but you dont want to get back to dyes and colours. Does not stain skin, and gives a good grey tinge. One bottle lasts for at least 20-30 applications on short hair.

Died my hair grey for the fall and this keeps the color up in between dyes.Its drippy so do it in the shower and comb in thru your hair.Don't use light towels! Great color and lasts awhile,bottle contains alot.

This is the perfect solution for those of us who want to blur the line between old color and new growth! I want to revert to my natural hair color (which is now mostly white), but don't want to cut my shoulder length hair short, just to be rid of the pale blonde shade that stubbornly remained when my "light ash brown" semi-permanent color faded.With the (post-shampoo) application of this product to my towel-dried hair, I can camouflage the half white/half blonde, by turning the whole thing a sort of pewter color that I really like! Best of all, it stays in until washed away with the next shampoo. I consider this a creative and economical option - particularly for those of us who only need to shampoo once or twice a week.

I have long, think hair that is mostly grey, the kind of hair that is head-turning -- until I got the bright idea to highlight it. That was a fiasco, since my hair was once auburn-colored, and I learned the hard way that grey hair with previously red tones turns orange if you bleach it and try to dye it. This Fanci-full Steel Grey is THE answer to toning that mess down so that I don't have to keep it braided in order to disguise my unfortunate foray into box highlighting at home. This rinse makes a great, quick cover up for my bleached, tried to dye to gray hair that didn't quite get to a decent gray shade. I went from dark brown/black to a orangish-yellow, ash color (wanting white/gray ultimately). Fortunately I found this product and it gives an overall nice shade of gray so I can give my hair a chance to rest/repair until I go all in once again with a different permanent gray. I wish I could get this actual rinse-shade permanently!

This is what I use in my hair after shampooing and between color touch ups to keep my steel/gray color. I LOVE it. I put into a fine mist spray bottle and spray all my hair after shampoo and conditioning (with a purple tint shampoo conditioner set) and work all through my hair. I let it dry naturally and style just as I would any other day. When doing the gray hair (with dye, not natural) it's a lot of upkeep. It fades quickly so having this on hand is a scalp saver!!! If used correctly and you have realistic expectations, this stuff is a dream. I'm on my second bottle and will continue to purchase. Happy shopping!
