Hair Brush and Comb Cleaner with Metal Wire Rake for Hair Dust Lint Removal

Product is small but works great. Cleans hairbrush easily.

I had one of these years ago and loved it. Found this one on Amazon and snatched it right up. So easy to clean hairbrushes with, and also easy to clean. Glad I found this.

I have a combo boars hair/plastic bristle brush. It collects a ton of lint along with hair. Cleaning it by hand got the hair only, not the lint, and the combs I tried would get stuck on those plastic balls commonly put on the tips of plastic bristles for scalp protection. This brush cleaner goes through the bristles much better than the combs were able to and, while it still leaves lots of lint, it does reduce it, thus extending the time between brush washing. It's not perfect but I use it almost daily and am pretty happy with the results.

I stumbled upon this during some other Amazon adventure — it’s definitely not something I ever considered searching for — but I’m glad that I did. I think the photos speak for themselves on this one. It works. I used this tool on my paddle brush (shown) as well as on a round brush, course bristle brushes, and others— all with the same results.Some notes:• It’s not necessarily fast. It takes patience to get off all of the nasty little lint nests. (This brush took ~10 mins.) But it will happen; you just have to stick with it.• It takes some elbow grease. I started out using it gently, which works well enough just to get the hair out, but I realized that wasn’t going to get it done for the lint. You really have to go to town to scrape those little suckers off.• It makes a mess. Not a big deal, but I would make sure to do this somewhere that’s easy to clean/sweep up afterward. And I probably wouldn’t do it when I’m dressed and ready to go out, unless dusty is your style.• In some cases, the dust nests weren’t coming off, and I got frustrated… until I realized that it simply cleared out things well enough that I could pull them off easily them by hand.I see some folks complaining (mildly) about the cost, but I don’t share that concern. I mean, it’s less than $10, it does what it claims, and it can save not just one brush but any brushes that you own. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Nice little brush and comb cleaner. Very easy to use and sturdy. It really keeps the hair out of the bristles.

This brush rake is Superb! Gets everything out. Living where it's cold you bundle up more and things like sweaters and bathrobes can leave lint in your hair. This product cleans IT ALL. Will buy again and give as gifts too!Thank you for a great rake!

It works very good for cleaning out the brushs

I had high hopes for this, but sadly it did not deliver. The metal rake was not tight and after just a couple of uses it really wasn't working as well. I actually put a rubber band around it to make it tighter (it came with a rubber band already). It's okay but not too good at lifting lint. It did pick up hair but with lint is hit or miss.EDITED: A few months later. I actually came back to give it one more star. I had a new brush and with my modification of adding a rubber band to make it tighter it had been doing the job as intended a lot better. I also think it really depends on the type of hairbrush you are using whether it it is easy to remove lint/hair. For my paddle brush it does a good job but with a round brush, it's harder.

It works great. I've cleaned 3 of my brushes with it. The only thing is that it's a bit small and the elastic bands keep coming off

This product should have been offered as a $2 add-on. That is all that it is worth, in my opinion. Would not recommend.
