Just arrived, love it
So pleased I opted for a proper Ridge wallet. The quality is excellent and can feel it should last years. It took me around an hour of handling and toying with the wallet before I felt like I used to the switch from a regular wallet. Pro tip: push the cards through the ridge gap at the bottom, then pinch thet corner and et voilà- the cards fan out allowing you to easily grab the ones in the middle of the stack.Super compact and tidy, money clip and elastic bands are tight and secure. Feels like a wallet 2.0.

Ridge Wallet
Very slim, smart product and love the Alpine colour. Holds all my cards very discreetly nd just right in my pocket. The days of loose cards or bulky wallets over.

Convenient form factor that doesn't bulk out the pocket.
I have been toting a leather tri-fold wallet with Faraday shielding for years, but I have had an eye on "minimalists" for a while now, and The Ridge appeared to be a champion of the breed.I have seen some negative reviews for reasons with which I don't agree. For example, one reviewer complained that the cards have to come out at an angle, because you can only push on the thumb notch, and that that makes it difficult to extract a card from the middle. I find that if I put my right thumb on the bottom of the cards, at the thumb notch, and place my right index finger over the tops of the card, and then pull the wallet down with my left hand, they come out straight, and it's easy to select a specific card.Another review raised the concern that pushing another card in (again at an angle) would in time damage the elastic (effectively, the cards would saw at the elastic). I find it easy enough to pull the panels apart at the top and push a new card in straight (I currently have 8 in the wallet).Another claimed that the cards lost their magnetic strips grinding together. Perhaps inserting and extracting cards the way the other reviewers claimed they had to do would do the trick, but I find doing it my way doesn't grind the cards any worse than any other wallet.I find the small form factor very convenient, and the money clip (you can get one with a strap, also) is pretty strong for notes, but you do have to fold them twice to not overhang the wallet. I have not had any durability issues yet, but I have only had the wallet for a week. But because it is small enough to fit into the glass dish in which I place my keys, my coins and my work security pass, I am never likely to forget it, even with my very early morning start.

Neat, tough and compact
The media could not be loaded. I have had many leather wallets and all of them seem to fall apart after a few years. This feels sturdy and tough so I feel confident it should last far longer than a traditional wallet. It is not bulky or particularly heavy at all and I currently have 8 cards in it. Took a moment to get use to extracting individual cards however once I got the knack of how it works I can get them out with ease. Due to it being metal I will avoid putting in same pocket as my keys incase it was to get scratched. Overall I would recommend due to it's solid build and compact size and am I am personally happy with it

Very nice colour very practical wallet
I’ve had Ridge before but this aluminium one in blue in my opinion out ranks all the other options.Simply gorgeous and as practical as all the others.Time will tell how the finish holds out, but I am very careful with all my mini wallets. If you haven’t owned a ridge before they take a bit of getting used to.But lots of practice in removing cards becomes second nature after time.I’ve also got an expensive leather mini wallet made in London, beautiful thing, but all cards go in together like the ridge and you have to train the leather to stretch to fit a specific amount of cards you can add but not take away, because remaining ones are now too loose.Thats the magic of the ridge you can add more cards or carry less they are always secure. It does say up to 12. But I think that then makes it a chore to get to your cards properly, 5 to 6 cards or less is manageable and easy to pick which one you want.

Elegant and modern, probably my last investment of a wallet till I die
Received my Ridge wallet today, paid about 80 quid as there was a slight discount, I've heard good things about them and I was starting to loathe the wallet I had been carrying for several years now.First impressions are it feels well constructed, it uses tension from the straps to keep the cards enclosed, I will be seeing how long the tension lasts after months of taking cards out, replacing cards, adding new cards etc. The money clip is a nice addition, apologies for the terrible folding, I just wanted to demonstrate it in the photo, had I folded it properly I estimate you could probably stack about 100-150 quid in 10s before you start to worry about money falling out at inconvenient times. As you can see in that photo, I can several cards of average width and depth, only one is of bulkier build and that went in fineThere's no rough edges on the money clip so it doesn't rub against your skin in an offensive way (if you decide to face it towards the leg), I'll see if that changes in summer (sweaty bollocks) if that adds some friction and discomfort. Will probs update this when I get to use it on the field at Tesco on how easy it is for a simpleton like myself to specific cards out in a timely manner.Final word on this, if I were forced to speak in one word sentences, would be; wooooow.P.S sorry if the text being upside down in that photo with my cards is setting off your OCD.
