Sonic Amiibo - Japan Import (Super Smash Bros Series)

This Zelda Super Smash Brothers amiibo yields very useful materials for playing Breath of the Wild on the Nintendo Switch. Of primary interest to me is the Twilight Bow, akin to the Bow of Light that Link can only obtain from Zelda for the final battle with Ganon. Attack power 30, durability 100, range 8,000 meters!!! (but the light arrows do not travel at the speed of light - you can miss a moving target even though the arrows do not drop under gravity!). The Twilight Bow is great for sniping bad guys from far away! Also rarely, one can obtain star fragments and diamonds, which are difficult to come by in BOTW itself. More commonly, one can obtain Royal Bows and lesser weapons and as you progress in the game, the weapons dropped will come with perk upgrades like increased attack power or durability, as for finds in the game itself. The Twilight Bow is obtained on roughly 1 in 50 uses of the amiibo (after you have liberated at least one Divine Beast) but if you're persistent with Game Save and Reload, you can try your luck as many times a day as you want as long as you discard all the previous drops you don't want. Since I got a Twilight Bow from Zelda on my fifth try, I'm very happy with my luck and the amiibo! One or two points about the product delivered - although an Amazon label was pasted over the UPC code identifying the product as "Japan import," it was clearly produced for the European market as there seemd to be 7 or 8 European languages on the Nintendo packaging-no Japanese, AFAIK. The coloration of the amiibo is not quite as light and radiant as depicted in the marketing images on the Amazon web page, either, unless you put it under very intense light. But still, it's a beautiful and memorable figurine that drops lots of rare and useful stuff when playing BOTW on the Switch. You can get the same functionality much cheaper with NFC cards or discs, also available on Amazon, but I wanted a beautiful memento, expensive though it may be, for all the fun I'm having with BOTW. It would be nice, too, if the figurine were a bit larger and Zelda's face were a bit fuller to correspond to her BOTW appearance but then for an amiibo from the Super Smash Brothers game, one can't complain too much about resemblance to Zelda in BOTW, who's also a blonde, unlike the brunette SSB figurine.

First up, don't hesitate to pick this version up over the USA one (especially if it is cheaper). It works just like the other 2 versions. This amiibo looks really nice. In Breath of the Wild it's rare drop is the light bow. A nice bow which shoots infinite light arrows!My only gripe with it is how overpriced any of the Zelda amiibo are. You have to buy them in a store like Best Buy to get them for their MSRP. Either way though I'm not knocking any stars off just because people are greedy. Nice amiibo!

Bought this for my little guy so he could get the bow of light in botw. It only took him 25 min of trying/reloading to get it :) the weird thing about this amiibo though is that Zelda came as a brunette? Kind of strange, but it worked well all the same!

The item was exactly what I was expecting, Zero Suit Samus Amiibo (Japanese version). There are slight differences in the coloration between the NA & JPN versions, nothing too dramatic, and barely noticeable, but the JPN Amiibo also feel like they're made differently, slightly better build. In the end, they're Amiibo, and all are region-free, so you can use your JPN Amiibo in NA nintendo systems. My only *concern* is the way amazon ships these. I'm not a collector, I opened up my Amiibo packaging so I can display the actual Amiibo. But amazon bent the top part of the cardboard, where the peg hook hole is located, to make the item fit in the box. If I was a collector, I would be upset. This is in no way a reflection on the seller, just the way Amazon shipped my package. Do they do this every time? I don't know, but it was my experience. Sorry I couldn't upload pictures, but the Amazon app kept crashing whenever I tried to do so.

I bought these for my son as a Christmas gift. I was concerned that it wouldn't work because it was a Japanese import but it worked perfectly! The only thing different was the box had Japanese writing on it. My son tore the box open so fast he didn't even realize it! He scanned it on the Nintendo Switch and got his Sonic gear. Happy son, happy mom! Very happy with this purchase.

SO AWESOME! From the moment I opened it, Samus was flipping around and shooting missiles all over the house! My cats had no idea how to react. She destroyed half my furniture and even put a hole in my favorite shirt...then the drugs wore off and I realized it was just a plastic amiibo! Works great!

I’m so happy! This TP amiibo is legit and works well. It was delivered fast. I don’t keep my amiibos in their initial packaging. I really only care if the item is received, works and is not damaged. Everything turned out great. The cardboard box it was delivered in looked all chewed up and bent out of shape ( from the delivery people not the seller), but the packaging itself was in really good condition. I would order from this seller again. Thank you!

To any concerns regarding the import, this looks and works great! If you are curious about the packaging I’ve included photos. The package was in pristine condition. I’ve had no problems using it on my switch. It’s a great addition to the collection. Benefits play in BOTW, although I have yet to get the bow of light. Highly recommend this seller for quick delivery and accurate description.

I was so glad I was able to track this down, as many of this amiibo at other retailers is expensive. I ended up having to get this imported from Japan, but that doesn't matter in the slightest if you are using it for display purposes. It's still one of the most well crafted and beautiful amiibos out there

My son was very pleased with this but I was not happy about having to pay £11.45 Customs Charge to Royal Mail as it was shipped to UK from outside the EU 😡

Despite it being imported from Japan, there is no difference in the actual product. Amiibos are region free and once the japanese packaging is removed, it will be exactly the same as a UK bought one.It took about 3 weeks to be imported from japan and I didn't incur any custom/excise charges.If you want a Rosalina in the UK for actually using and playing with but don't want to pay the high market prices over here then definitely opt for a Japan import one.

The amiibo is amazing and it arrived very fast thanks to Amazon prime 5/5 :).
