It dents your vehicle until it breaks!
I purchased this product and originally loved it. Unfortunately the product is not well constructed. After roughly one summer season, the product broke away from the base and damaged my vehicle.The umbrella was not being used in anyway abnormally... it was simply a normal wind in normal conditions that resulted in the product failing.I contacted LanModo and..Email 1. They wanted pictures to prove the product was broken (understandable).Email 2. They wanted to know where I purchased the product (understandable).Email 3. They wanted receipt for proof of purchase (irritating as I don’t keep every receipt - but ok... I get it).Email 4. Then they offered to send me the broken parts for me to fix myself. Um... I am not a engineer- I’m not handy. Oh... BTW - they wanted to charge me $29 for the parts.Finally - I’m done. The suction cup used to anchor the tent to your vehicle leaves a DENT IN YOUR VEHICLE. If your going to use this - you must suction this to your glass moon roof - or you will permanently damage the vehicle.If it breaks - as mine did - it will likely scratch and dent your vehicle as mine did.I only asked that the LanModo Co. replace the tent and offered to ship back the broken tent - there offer was to send me the broken parts for $29. I don’t even ask that they repair my damaged vehicle. Disappointed.

Keeps car in shade but cheaply built.
I liked that it was easy to use and that it kept the car in the shade. It kept the car cool and protected the paint. However, the mainetance on keeping the base and the skelton is annoying. After 4 months of using it daily in Florida I had the wind blow it off while I was putting it away. The screws left a huge 12" scratch on my rood that wont come out. Not only that. The base is connected to a suction cup with 4 cheap screws, 3 of which have fallen out. Now I am currently waiting for the 4th one to fall out so I can try and fix it.
