I'm no expert, but sounds good to me!
Needed the cable to give a 30-year old turntable, a little more cabling than was provided at the time of manufacture to reach the desired distance to my Hi-Fi system and so that it would connect to the more modern day habit of manufacturing Hi-fi systems with 3.5mm jacks rather than phono connections.Did the job and also I think my turntable sounds a little clearer and I don't think I need it turned up that much than I used to have to. But as my headline states, I'm no audio expert, just offering my opinion.

Poorly packaged but functions well
There are times that it may be necessary to connect a portable media device including some phones (those with a 3.5mm jack socket) otherwise possibly with an adapter and almost all portable media players to a home hi-fi system. That may be to play music on the portable device through a more powerful system, possibly for a party, or otherwise to transfer music from a CD or other media onto the portable device. This "DigitalLife 3.5mm to RCA Phono Female Cable - 2 Female Phono to 3.5mm Aux Male Jack for Turntable/Amplifier/Hi-Fi System [2m, Nylon Braid]" could be the means to do that.At 2m long it will allow the convenience of a portable device to be located somewhere within easy reach of major equipment, avoiding the physical restrictions imposed by the usual 15-20 cm length of most PC-oriented adapter cables; a shorter, 1.2 m version is also available. It also claims to be well-shielded against EMI and RFI effects and is inherently flexible thanks to its woven outer covering. As expected, the RCA connectors are clearly colour-coded to differentiate LEFT and RIGHT sides. It was found to be susceptible to kinking if not used carefully. It is supplied boxed in a package that is 17 cm long, 5.5 cm wide and 2 cm deep but the cable is tightly coiled into a thick 7cm wide bundle and so tightly wedged into its packaging that its removal was almost impossible. If loosely looped, removal would have been instantaneous, avoiding several wasted minutes. While it may not be something used every day, it will be used sufficiently often to justify its existence while being well-priced.

Thin but decent-quality cable
This is a nice simple 3.5mm to RCA cable. Although it’s quite thin, it has the braided feel that I normally associate with slightly thicker cables. The ends and the splitter point are all a little on the chunky side but not excessive. In my set-up, I can’t detect any hum or any evidence of cable fault or lack of shielding, and that’s all I wanted really. For more pro or high-end use I might have concerns about the thickness of this cable though, as there clearly can’t be much shielding going on in there. The position of the Y join in the cable leaves a surprisingly large amount of separation between the left and right RCA outputs- you can end up having them almost a metre apart- which could potentially be useful if you are sending them to speakers that are broadly separated, but fairly redundant if you are using this on the way to a mixing desk or some other purpose where the channels will be next to each other.A useful audio cable that’s definitely handy to have in the box, or for those times you are happy to plug your smartphone directly into your hi-fi and so on.

A very well made and good sounding cable in a useful configuration
The DigitalLife cable is supplied in a cardboard box with no unnecessary plastic bags and 3 card inserts. One of these gives a 24 month warranty (pics 1-5).I wanted this to split the feed from a 3.5mm audio socket into 2 RCA feeds. I am then going to use each channel, left and right, to feed 2 separate rechargeable speakers that have 3.5mm inputs. 2 x single RCA to single 3.5mm cables completing the set up. This gives me wired stereo. I could also do this via Bluetooth and pairing the speakers but in this instance I want a wired connection. In any case it will/does sound better than sending the same files through the ether. I also have a plan to try some clever stuff with Bluetooth adapters to convert 2 Bluetooth speakers that cannot be paired into a stereo pair by splitting then sending one channel to each via Bluetooth.First to say is that this cable is very well made. The connectors are metal and properly gold plated (i.e not just painted on!), the cable is braided, shielded and strong and the whole cable is a good length (@ 2 metres). Secondly, it works well and the sound quality is excellent. Thirdly the 'Female' RCA configuration is the type I needed for my set up. It is a slightly unusual requirement so I was pleased to find this cable for such a reasonable price and delighted it sounds great.A cable like this whilst not as common as the 'male RCA' variant that is also available would have other uses. For example to provide and extension cable between an RCA equipped amplifier or system and a computer's 3.5 mm output by connecting to an existing 2 x RCA to 2x RCA 'Male' to 'Male' cable.I like this cable very much and I think it represents very good value for the money. The bass is solid and the mid-range and treble are sweet. I have upgraded the sound quality of my former Bluetooth set up for not much money and am very pleased with the outcome. If this is the configuration you need I would certainly recommend this product.

Works as it should but a bit flimsy
This cable works as it should for plugging my record player into a headphone amp. Quite often cables that are designed like this don't offer stereo sound but this one does so the tip ring and sleeve connectors appear to be actual connections.

Works well and without issue.
Basic cable with hefty plugs on each end, easily visible color coding, and a flexible nylon woven jacket that makes it extra easy to run from one device to the next.Cable connectors fit snugly and securely in their respective sockets. Each connector is 24k gold plated.I've used this cable with a number of different audio devices, ranging from and including a turntable, receiver, as an extension cord between my amp and pre-amp, and more.No issues, great performance every time.
