A great addition
I like these switches because of its plain and simple look. The indicator lights are not bright and fit well with my application. The only drawback is that the switches do not come with instructions on how to connect them. I had to do trial and testing to figure this out. So installation was not easy. But they are a great product to have.

Pretty good knockoff of the Swan foglight switch Nissan used in the '90s
Like the title says, these are almost a dead ringer for the Swan fog light switch in my '93 Pathfinder. The rocker goes the other way to turn it on, though, so that's aggravating if you want to mix and match with the real ones, but not a problem if you're using them on their own. I had trouble with the indicator light in one of them, but opening it up and cleaning the connections cleared that up. The lights are brighter than they need to be, might add some resistors in line at some point to deal with that. Wiring took a couple minutes to puzzle out, but it's about the same as the originals. Still surprisingly good for the price, especially if you get the four-pack. I've got my fogs, driving lights, and aux reverse lights wired through these, with one to spare.

So far, works good.
This is a DPST switch not spst. An LED and a ballast resistor are attached across the poles shown in the schematic. The switch is commonly listed as a ASW-17D, manufactured by several companies in china . The bulk price in lots of 20k is $0.50 each. This should give an indication of the typical 5x industry markups.

Nice switches especially for the money
Switches were perfect fits in trim panel for older Toyota sedan. Good tactile feel when turning on or off. Good value for money. Only complaint is no wiring instructions were included, and getting the LED to illuminate was a challenge. Fortunately another reviewer was kind enough to figure it out and share.

Works - with wiring diagram
I'm using this to run driving lights on my truck. I am running my lights through a relay so I just need a small amount of power through this switch to run the relay, and the relay is carrying the power to the lights. I used a previous reviewer's wiring diagram and some trial and error as well. I wanted the indicator light to come on only when the lights were switched on. I did find I only needed one ground wire, not two. The other reviewer may not be using a relay though. Going my route, with a relay, only required one ground at the switch. My diagram is how my switch is wired and it works perfect for me. However before making your connections permanent test everything yourself to make sure it works.Edit: I ended up being very lucky - there was a blank switchplate on my truck (2008 Nissan Frontier) and this switch fit in that space perfectly. Before you go cutting up your dash, if you have any blank switches see if you can use those instead for a more factory clean look.

Better than expected
Using in a 2004 Tacoma. They fit the lower center dash punchouts (in front of shifter by lighter sockets) not perfectly, but the fit looks better than I expected. These are slightly less tall than the Toyota spec but unless you shine a light behind the dash,l and look for a gap, they look stock enough to me I plan to keep them. The build quality is better than I expected, they are very solid with positive action. The blue LED is too bright for me as ai expected, but was surprised to find the red/green/amber lights are the perfect brightness, not too much and they blend in.Overall, these are much more of a satisfying replacement for Toyoya OEM than I expected. I planned to replace when I found better ones, but these are keepers.
