Perfect match for lost socket
Needed to replace a lost socket from my Craftsman set and placed this order. Received a socket that matched the missing one. It would t have mattered if it matched or not but it did. Great socket.

Will only reach about 2.5 deep into a recess and 1.76 inches deep over a stud.
STANLEY BLACK+DECKER and Robert Fournier in Q&A section are wrong. This socket is not 3" long.See the pictures included with this review. This socket is roughly 2.5 inches long. The inner hexagonal area is only 1.76 inches deep.This socket will only go about 1.76" deep on a stud (if you're trying to get at the nut). If you are trying to get at a bolt head it will only go about 2.5 inches into a recess or bore.

Hard, shiny and fits as described.
Needed to change a weedwhacker head, had one size too small. Rather than buy a whole set, got this one individually. Unfortunately I had too buy a new wrench too but that's due to my lack of attention to detail. Fit perfectly, did it's job, chrome looks good and should last quite a while.
