These worked pretty well. My wife put them in my son's fire truck cake and it was a hit (wrapped the base in seran wrap and it worked fine. It is not possible to get them all to blink at the same time - they blink at constant intervals, but each light blinks at a different rate. They are just cheap little LEDs - they worked, no issues for us!After we were done with them, we turned them off and a couple of them started faintly blinking the next day- so something odd is going on there, but overall, they got the job done!Pros: they work, nice and brightCons: they don't all blink at the same rate of speed, a couple started blink the day after we turned them off - so there is likely a battery drain issue that'll ensure the used ones have their batteries drain before we want to use them again.If I could change anything about this product: make them blink at the same speed, fix whatever caused a couple of them to start blinking a day after being turned off - that's a smidge unsettling.Packaging type: the LEDs come in a small clear zip-lock type bagIf you found this review helpful - please click the "Yes" button below this review indicating so - thanks!

Rip off I’m guess for blinking bc you get a lot more for a lot cheaper if steady nonflash - out of the 12, 2 didn’t turn on at all - 1 had no lens and the ones that did work started fading before one hour

I have used these for several projects now and they never disappoint! Most recently, I glued them to my son's halloween costume. Once I glued them in, I was unable to turn them on and off again, so I just put them on right before we went out, knowing that they would only last for one night. To my surprise, we got home after work today, and they're still blinking, 24 hours later! They aren't quite as bright now, but nevermind, I just had to come on and write a review because I couldn't believe it.UPDATE: Halloween was Thursday night, its Sunday morning and these are still blinking! They're def not as bright as they were the first night, but they're still decently bright.

So I ended up using these for a centerpiece. Some glass jars filled with Spanish moss inside this rustic sheet metal basket. It came out really nice and these gave it that extra special element that I was looking for.I turn them all off and just use them in the table centerpiece for special occasions. Turning them on and off is time consuming but it’s great you can reuse this if you buy batteries for them. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is these don’t last long and the batteries are crazy expensive. But they are great for projects!

Super fast shipping! These were a hit at the Salt Flats in Utah during the weekend of Bonneville Speedway 2016 Speed Week. We tied them to kites and then flew the kits at night. SUPER AWESOME! People in the near by camp came over (not knowing that we were flying kites) and asked if we saw the lights in the sky! They were freaking out because it looked like an alien space ships flowing in the sky the night! These were bright and lightweight. We were able to tie quite a few lights to each kite and it didn't weight the kite down. We gave away most of what we had SO we will be purchasing more next year for Speed Week 2017!

They worked really well for what I needed them for! The lights were a bit bigger than I hoped they would be, though. I needed them for my ugly sweater. Part of the sweater has a Christmas tree that I was going to make look like it had a string of lights on it. That didn't work out because of the size, so I just sewed them around the entire design, and I loved the way it came out! Plus, it was a big hit at my office ugly sweater/holiday potluck party. Didn't win (because it was too pretty to be ugly), but it was worth the effort to sew on the lights! I've been recommending them to everyone :)

The power is great. They are very bright in the dark. However, the only flaw is the inability to turn them on and off in a secure way. The only way you can "turn off" the lights is to unscrew the unit to a point where the connection between battery and light is lost; like taking the back cap off a flashlight to turn it off. They're a good deal with that design flaw.

I didnt realize these were flashing lights. I think I got so excited that they had the color I wanted at the price I was wanting to pay that I over looked that. I will find something to do with them Im sure, but not exactly what I was looking for.
