Expandable Air Media Filter 88NA2506MB01 MERV 10 for Bryant and Carrier

I have a Carrier Air Conditioner and the filter box referenced this part number. It showed up a day early and installed perfectly. I fully expect to see some savings on my next energy bill, as my partner brah hadn't changed the filter as long as she's lived here.

We have had a HVAC company to maintain our central air conditioning system and replaces the filter annually since we replaced our old one 13 years ago. A recent misrepresentation by the company's tech and the unresponsive email to the owner was not return and we decided to enroll in our local utility company. Unfortunately, we find out afterward that they don't do filters though the tech was kind to show us what it needs to be done and we ordered this Expandable Air Media Filter for our Bryant (Carrier) system. It was not difficult to replace though because of my husband's and my lack of experience, it took a bit longer than the tech did and so far it works fine and saved us almost $100.

This filter fits perfectly for a great price, so Amazon gets the five stars. The HVAC system, however, gets negative stars for the biggest ?!#-pain filter replacement ever created. Good luck to those that need to accordion this filter into the frame without tearing it or yelling profanities.

Very nice filter. Had 2 cloth strips on the top edge and was 2 times as thick as the OEM ones that I had been buying local for $50 each. So I got 2 of these and I am good for another year. I put one in at the start of heat season and one in at the start of AC season and seem to be good. I will buy these again for sure.

This tore quite a bit while trying to put it in place, mind you there are a lot of little pleats to try and fit, but it was so flimsy that I had a hard time keeping the pleats in place.

This type of Furnace filter can be difficult to replace in it's frame but company sent instructions, This is a Plus I have replaced this filter before but not with the ease of this installation again the Instructions was plus. I would buy from this Company again The price of this filter much cheaper from Amazon and this Company than Local vendor

I know some people bashed this product because it isn't American made and lacks quality. Worked fine for me. This is the 3rd time I have ordered this particular filter and it has worked fine each time. I just have a hard time spending $45.00 at my local HVAC supply store. Not doing that when I can get the same thing here for almost half the price.
