Herbie Rides Again 40th Anniversary Blu-ray - Disney Exclusive

There's nothing to dislike. Great movie for the families. Clean, fun and exciting with the misadventures of a car with additive. Now you know why everyone names their car. If it's a baddass truck or fast car, even the "family" transport...you name it accordingly. Him or her it's your "baby", LOL. The characters and the car(i.e.) "Herbbie" they jell together, just like one of the family or a good life long friend. Enjoy.

A great classic movie! I showed it to my Grade 3 class and they all enjoyed it!

This isn't the sublime and preposterously-wonderful "Love Bug" -- a movie that is better and more-subtle than it has any right to be -- but it's a competent sequel. It's fun to see Herbie again and Helen Hayes is lovely, but I miss Dean Jones, Michelle Lee, and Buddy Hackett. Ken Berry is okay, but he's no Dean Jones. The plot involves Keenan Wynn's ubiquitous Alonzo Hawk trying to cheat or steal Helen Hayes's firehouse home from her so that he can erect another skyscraper. Needless to say, Herbie and friends thwart the evil machinations, with plenty of hijinks and tomfoolery in the process. This is the only worthwhile "Love Bug" sequel, and if you love "The Love Bug", I think you'll like "Herbie Rides Again".

Herbie is a car that has a mind of its own thatstays near a firehouse with Helen Hays. SteffaniePowers(Hart to Hart) plays the niece living with Helen Hays.Keenan Wynn is very grumpy that wants to blow up thefirehouse.(badguy) Ken Berry is the nephew of Alonzo Hawk(Keen Wynn) who helps Nicole and Helen Hayes. The sceneryof San Francisco is great. Golden Gate Bridge and Cable Caris fun to watch in the chase scene. Herbie saves the day.

Yes I am doing reviews on these Movies backwards so my last review will be on the Love Bug. The movie is really nice me thinks. Herbie falls in the good care of a Relative of Tennessee. She takes such good care of her Car , like I do to my Cats :) An interesting thing here is the mean Man in this movie happens to be related to a good Man who falls in love with the daughter of the Old Woman who now owns the Car. There is only one very mild race in this film and not a bunch of races like in The Love Bug and Herbie goes to Monte Carlo. This is a classic movie and Herbie is so awesome. Herbie does interesting things like Rides on tall Buildings and gets chased by bad people who where sent by the Villain to run that Old Lady out of her house.

Timeless very enjoyable and entertaining for all ages.

collecting Disney films on dvd for region 2 can be very daunting sometimes, but this one was easily found and I am happy to now own it and add it to my collection.

It's another good family movie, perfect for a Sunday afternoon in winter, with pop corns, hot chocolate and everybody at home.
