Discovery World FurnitureTwin Bookcase Daybed with 6 Drawers White

I've been pleasantly surprised with the twin bookcase daybed with drawers. It's always impossible to tell the quality of furniture when ordering online, but this one worked out well. Shipping was faster than quoted and done by a professional freighting service--in fact, the only delay was on their end getting the delivery scheduled and out once it arrived in town. The bed arrived wrapped on a small pallet in four large boxes, each of which I was able to lift and carry without much issue.Assembly was straightforward. It took me ~1.5 hours for complete assembly by myself and would have been less than half of that with someone else assisting. There are about 12 pieces total to assemble, and it's a simple system of wooden dowels and screws to hold everything in place. Frame is assembled first, then headboard separately. The BEST surprise was that the drawer unit ships completely assembled and just slides in under the bed! I was expecting the drawer unit to take the most time, so this was a very welcome surprise.I did have a small issue with a few screws stripping due to the hard wood. The seller was EXTREMELY fast in replying and will be sending out replacements same day. Overall, this is a quality piece of furniture that is sturdy without being too heavy. Buying experience was very easy and assembly was straightforward.

This is my second time ordering a bed from Discovery... First they pride themselves in sending you easily assembled pieces, the majority is done for you. The first bed I purchased has the drawers already assembled and headboard already assembled.. it was just a matter of screwing the the sides and pieces together and fixing the headboard and drawers to what I easily assembled.This time around WAS NOT SO!! I had to put the ENTIRE bed together!! There wasn't ANYTHING preassembled for me. I paid the same amount for a bed I had to put together from start to finish. Even the drawers had to be built along with the under bed cabinetry. Had I known I would not have purchased the bed at the price listed because of the work I had to put into it.On a positive note, all the pieces were in great shape with nothing damaged in shipping.

The design of this bed is exactly what I was looking for, so I accept that it is cheaply made and costs too much for what it is. Assembly is simple enough but takes some time. Some additional drilling and ideas required to get the drawer module attached to the bed (or it floats freely). The unhealthy new furniture smell lingers for months which is not great.

very well made. but a little too tall for me. i need a step stool to get in bed. ha. but i like it. clear directiond too assemble

I bought this for my teen age daughter’s room. She specifically selected it because of the length wise shelving, under bed storage and multiple drawers. The unit came partially assembled and really didn’t take long to complete assembly. It is sturdy. Large speciality mattresses are hard to put sheets and mattress protectors on, so I would suggest a less tall/deep mattress.

The bed is really nice and sturdy. I had to contact the seller on another matter and he was AMAZING to deal with. I highly recommend this company.

My teen daughter has this in her small room. It added clothing storage with the drawers (could slide easier but not a big deal) and she puts out of season clothes in totes and stores under. Great!

We purchased this bed for my 9 year old. After some extensive research, and comparison with other similar products, we decided to go with this one. And what a great decision it was! Extremely easy to assemble, has a ton of storage space, looks great in the room!
