ZanheadgearMotley Tube® Fleece Lined

Not as pictured.
I purchased the galaxy scarf/neck cover. It has a fleece lining and would be warm. I’m a female. 5’6” 133lbs. It was a little more snug on my neck than I would have liked. I wouldn’t be able to wear it comfortably in all the configuration but that’s okay as I really only wanted it for a scarf/face cover. The thing I didn’t like was the printing on both sides of the neck, that had a brand name and said China plus a manufacturing date with the manufacturer name. This was all really prominent in white writing. You couldn’t even hide it in the back because it was on there in duplicate on each side of the neck. This was not shown in the example photo which shows the side. I asked to return it and they said I would have to do a 50% restocking fee because of a COVID and they couldn’t sell it as new plus return shipping. So I would get back a buck and some change. I will be donating it I guess because the writing looks tacky and cheap. If that was depicted in the product photo I never would have purchased. The review won’t let me add a photo which is weird.

Great look and feel, BUT way too tight.
Very tight around the neck, constrictive and uncomfortable. But, it looks and feels great. Probably better for a child more than an adult. Need an adult size please.

Very nice for keeping the neck and head warm.
These are great! Bought 2, one for myself, one for my husband. They fit quite well, are amply-sized to be able to cover a good portion of the neck, face and head, and get on easily. The material is soft and quite giving. We're using them for more than just when we're out for cooler rides. These are a great addition to our colder-weather suiting up options! We use Shoei GT-Air helmets, so I wouldn't think a person could fit their helmet over these as a balaclava style (I haven't tried), as our helmets are quite snug around the face, but to keep it up the neck and tuck it within the jacket, it does the job. I'd think for folks working with horses, or out in brisk weather, these are a good thought. Anytime one is out where it is cold and blustery. Thanks!

Snug BUT keeps you warm. Fogs KD's a little.
Fits nice and snug. My head is a whopping 24 inches and it fit tight. The problem is when stopped my KD's would fog up, however, once I took off it was good after about 4 seconds. Now this seems to be okay but in NY 4 seconds of vague clarity is dangerous. SO, what I did was just open my mouth when stopped at a light, this would make the tube come down a little, allowing my glasses to breathe. Looks badass! It flew away in the wind one day i forgot to take it off my backrest... rip little buddy. If anyone finds it keep it. (wash it tho)

Soft, comfortable. Can get damp
I really like this fleece tube. It really is just a fleece tube but it keeps me pretty warm. I used it maybe 4 days a week all winter long and it still works great. The only problems were it gets pretty damp from your breath. It's sometimes gross to pull it back over your face when its cold and wet. It stays on really well, I've never had it slip down or anything. I've only used it to cover the lower part of my face. It comes with a little chart that shows other ways to wear it but I haven't tried them yet. Love this tube, its still really soft after repeated washings. I've put it away from now, but I know it will be ready to go next winter.

Would be perfect if it weren't so narrow.
Looks good. It's warm enough and long enough. Product needs to be a little larger in diameter. I'm not a real big guy and this thing fits too snug. I get better protection from the cold with a thinner tube I have because it's big enough to not cling to the skin. You need the air gap for insulation and with this one fits too snug, it doesn't keep you as warm as it should.

Good product. Good price.
This has been a lifesaver for biking to work this winter in DC. The tube is long enough to double it over on extra cold days all the way up to my ears and still keep my neck covered. It also is good for pulling over the top of the head from the back. I agree with people that say that it can fog up your glasses or that it can be difficult to breath through (when doubled over) but I don't see those as design flaws. It does it's job but you can't avoid the functions of breathing. It's not vented like some face masks and if open nostrils or air holes are preferred than this is the wrong product. Overall I think I'm very pleased with the product and felt it was a good deal at the price. I took off one star because it says one size fits all. While this is probably true, some modes of wearing it would be very tight on many people as noted in other reviews.

Rip that tag off and wear it-in for better fit.
Some background on me: I'm 6', 150lbs, and wear medium everything. I'm practically the definition of the average adult. With that said, this was a tighter fit over my head and around my neck than expected, but it's very warm. Even though it could be a bit wider around the neck, if worn over the face, I found it to be a better fit (since my face is pulling it away from my throat). I think it just needs a few washes and some wearing-in.Because it's so warm, it becomes unbearably hot indoors, even on public transit during winter. The only downside I can think of is the tag sewn into the inside of it. Gets very annoying and itchy; so had to pull it off. That left a tiny hole on the inside layer of it, but no big deal. Should have used scissors to cut it off in hindsight, because the hole gets bigger with every wear.Edit:After a couple of months of cold winter wearing, I noticed that it started to really show in the wear-and-tear department, in that it's fraying, or getting fluffy around the edges. That doesn't affect the effectiveness of it, but it does tickle my face with the loose small fibres that feel like they could be pulled off much like an old sweater that beads up after washing it.

Great winter mask
I love wearing this mask for snowboarding on the colder days in the season. It is nice and snug so it doesnt fall down easily and it is a thicker material so it really does keep your face warm.I have used it all of this season practically and the elasticity and tightness hasnt changed. It was worth the money for sure. Not good for warmer days though!

Recommended!
I've been using this since temperatures have dipped below zero. I normally get a soar throat from having a draft go across my neck but so far this has kept me toasty. I usually only wear a baseball cap so bringing this over my hears and nose is great for those windy days. with the thick fleece it doesn't seem to soak up your breath either with some of the other full balaclava's I've used in the past.

The nose crusher! Tight on the neck but it's doing the job perfectly!
I got a big head and it's very tight to put on, and even it's crushing my nose, I hope it's going to stretch a bit. Seems hot tho, breathing is perfect, no sweat. Even covering my ears perfectly. 10/10 would love to get my nose crushed again!

warm, snug, soft
I'd been looking for a paisley buff for a while and am happy with the pattern. The fleece lining is thin enough that it doesn't become bulky, but still enough to add warmth. It does cut down on the stretch and flex of the tube, cutting down on some of the stretchier wearing option. Fits tighter than any other buff I own, but on a cold winter night it's actually perfect as an under-layer
