Tac Shield T4000CY Surefire 6P/G2 Light Molle Pouch Coyote, Multi, Single

Edit (3/21/23): Beaware there are two models of this pouch. The T4000CY has a Molle strap and the T4050CY has Velcro loop to attach to a belt. A few years ago I purchased 2 (T4000CY), they both included Molle straps and are being used to this day. I recently purchased a 3rd for a family member (T4050CY) it came with a Velcro loop about 3" long instead of the Molle strap. Thinking this was a used item where someone returned it and kept the Molle strap, I ordered a replacement, it too came without the Molle Strap. It was after that I discovered there are two versions.Perfect fit for Surefire 6P and G2 series lights - not too tight or not too loose. The pouch has an open bottom so the tailcap switch does not get accidentally switch on when holstered. Plus my 6P and G2 lights do not stick of the bottom (like the Amazon picture shows) instead the light is recessed in by about a 1/4 of an inch so there is no way to accidentally switch it on. The flap is adjustable and held in by Velcro. There is a small tab on the outside of the flap to assist with pulling up the Velcro flap. Holstering and unholstering is smooth and does not catch or hang on anything. The construction and stitching seem very robust and I expect this will last for many years. There are 3 rows of Molle on the back with a Molle flap for attachment.Surefire use to make a nylon holster similar to this one but with a belt loop. I use the Surefire one for belt attachment and this Tac Shield when attaching to Molle.

I needed a molle style pouch for my Streamlight Strion flashlight. This one is listed for the Surefire 6P which is very similar in size to my Strion. This is my first product from TAC Shield and I am impressed by the workmanship and quality. This pouch will last a long time. The pouch features a removable/adjustable flap that is secured inside by velcro- nice feature as it will fit many sized flashlights. My Strion goes in and out with little effort, it does not snag on the inner 'ledge' of the adjustable flap as the other reviewer mentioned. The pouch has an integrated snap-closure molle strap with a single loop in the back. If I were to change anything about the pouch, I would close the bottom to lessen the chance of accidental illuminations from the exposed thumb switch.

Great!! Actually fits my single cell SureFire better than the SureFire holster!? And Made in USA!! Why can’t we have more product like this…sick of Chinese crap that inevitably falls apart/doesn’t fit right/poor quality/toxic materials!

I like that it is designed to fit Surefire lights specifically. I only wish they would add instructions on how to best use the molle strap to attach to my bag.

This item works to secure my Streamlight flashlight but with the hole allowing the flashlight to hang out of the bottom a little I can see how the button could be accidentally triggered, turning on the light when you don't want it on.

Quality of pouch is excellent, but it has a design flaw. The end of the cover flap that velcros to the inside of the pouch creates a ledge that the tail cap of the flashlight locks into and makes it nearly impossible to get the light out of the pouch. My flashlight is a Surefire G2X, but it would happen with any screw-on tail cap light that has a ridge between the tail cap and the body of the light.

Works great on my molle pack and holds my G2 surefire very secure, and light is very snug. If you have a lanyard on your light, you'll have to remove it.

Bought this for my surefire 6P and it fits like a glove. Another great product from another great American company.
