RMPStamping Blanks, 1 Inch x 2 Inch Rectangle with Rounded Corners, Aluminum 0.063 Inch (14 Ga.) - 50 Pack

I am new to metal stamping and these blanks have been wonderful to practice my stamping & to create my first project: a large family perpetual calendar! (Thank you, Pinterest!) I used one blank to stamp each family member's name & birthdate (some 35+) so I had plenty of opportunity to "evaluate" the blanks. They stamp well (easy to read impressions) and the metal weight is substantial (NOT flimsy at all). To that point, my project required punching 2 holes in each blank & this proved a bit challenging for me -- I broke two different kinds of metal hole punches in the process -- BUT once I pulled out an electric drill, my life & hole consistency improved greatly. Nice clean, even holes.I will sheepishly admit when I first received the blanks I was somewhat puzzled at what I THOUGHT was the backside -- what appeared to be annoying, misplaced writing on "the back" was actually an adhesive label (similar to electrical tape) protecting "the front"! (Duh!) It peels off easily once you get a corner lifted which I found I needed some tweezers to do. This revealed a beautiful scratch-free working area! Price can't be beat for what you get. These will be a staple in my project box. Highly recommend.

Pretty good quality. Easy to work with. Each blank has a protective sticker on one side (why not both?) to make sure that side stays shiny and un-marred in the packaging. I was able to punch holes with a hand-punching tool very easily. My only minor complaint is that the backside edges are a tad rough, but that was easily solved by giving each edge of each blank a few quick licks with 2000 grit sandpaper.

I used them to engrave with my Cricut machine. They worked fine. Peel the white tape off and engrave on that side. i used double sided tape to mount them.

Awesome blanks! I am into stamping and this size is great for keychains, small bookmarks and more! They come with one side covered so it looks perfect when you peel off that cover! This is also very easy to stamp so I highly reccomend it for beginners.

This is the first time I have stamped aluminum. Hit it will the same strength as I do sterling silver. Looks great. I use a Sharpie to paint in the impressions and wipe off with alcohol before polishing. Everything looks great. Great price. Great buy....and I will buy again.
