Skip MeeGoPad T01. Intel Compute Stick Arriving End of April 2015
Do not buy this MeeGoPad Stick. It doesn't comes with activated Windows 8.1, only a hacked Windows 8.1 30 days trial verison that MS doesn't support. You will either have to buy a license for $120, or wipe it and install Ubantu, which have no wifi support for the stick. Tha MeeGoPad itself works but you will have no OS to run it after 30 days is up. I would just wait for the Intel Computer Stick that Intel suppost to release with a working version of Windows.Edit: OK, I have manage to get the MeeGoPad T01 to run on Ubanutu 10 Golive on a USB. The wireless works but is unstable. There are no programs to run on and so far I am only able to browse the net with Chrome. You will need a USB hub.4/8/2015 Edit: OK, I was able to install 32 bit Windows 10 preview edition on the MeeGoPad T01. It will not upgrade directly from the Windows 8.1 that came with the computer, you will have to copy the Windows 10 iso to a bootable USB drive and install that way. The wireless on the computer will not work with Windows 10 as there are no driver that I can download from anywhere. In fact, there are no drivers available to download for any of its components, so do not delete Windows 8.1 system folders. I got around the wireless issue by using a USB to Ethernet adapter to connect to the network, or a USB to wireless adapter could works too. I use a USB hub to connect my wired keyboard and mouse, but I highly doubt the Bluetooth will work also. The Windows 10 is much better looking and have more functionality than Ubuntu OS, but not as fast. A USB hub is a must for this computer with all the dongles that are needed for this computer.

Great little computer
Great little computer. Boots up fast. The 32bit operating system is annoying, but I can live with it. Came with a "pre activated" copy of windows that as I figured was illegal, but was expecting that. Worth it though to get a US shipper instead of waiting for it to come from china. Some people have noted wifi issues with it. I noticed those as well, but a driver update fixed them.

Not good for streaming or network video playback
It will not play natively 720p or higher video without over heating no matter if the video is stored locally on the 32gb eMMC storage or if its being streamed over your network from another computer. If you need a computer connected to your tv to surf the web and do email this is fine but if you need more than that or want to play video this should not be purchased. I even removed running services using group policy editor in windows 8.1 in order to free up RAM and CPU cycles but it did not help play video. Netflix even caused this thing to overheat and play the video all chopped up making the experience untenable.

For mini PCs cool it runs Windows however...
2 stars for the product. It is good and as described, although did come packed with Chinese bloatware that takes a while to delete since you can't read the options. The built in wireless is garbage I did a speed test after getting a lot of loading while streaming and was horrified with the results I took the wireless dongle from my daughter's computer and it performed up to par with the rest of my wireless devices. Order a usb wireless adapter for this it will work way better. Shipping took 15 days to Utah and the seller doesn't provide any tracking info so you are pretty much left in the dark. Once you get past the kinks it's a great way to enjoy streaming media if you don't have a smart tv or want free alternatives to hulu and Netflix.

The MeeGoPad seems to support Windows 10
FYI: It seems the previous reviews are correct. This item comes with a 9600 version of Windows 8.1, which means you will need to activate it(purchase an update) for it to work beyond 30 days. Mine also came with a European power adapter and I had to buy an adapter to plug it in.On a good note. It seems this device will support Windows 10. I upgraded mine (took a couple of hours) and now the activate warning is history!I haven't looked at the Office 2013 install, yet. But, I'll add to this comment when I do.Next day, Office 2013 apps opened without warning. Maybe it's not as bad as it could have been

Good things in small packsges
It is compact and versatile but sometimes a bit difficult to operate. Booting up requires unplugging, replugging the power, then push the power button. Sometimes it takes multiple tries to boot. Resolution is not terrific, but that may be a different setting not yet discovered. It DOES meet a specific purpose, but not in speed or ease.

Nice stick PC BUT the windows 8
Nice stick PC BUT the windows 8.1 is a trial version. Don't even try to activate it and you can't even buy Win 8 from the app store. I downloaded Win 10 preview and installed it and it runs great. No video driver so it's a little laggy so I'm still working on it. You should wait for the Intel version which is one fifty for Windows and one hundred for Linux. Android is NOT installed on this stick but that wasn't why I bought it. I have a USB hub attached with a wireless keyboard and mouse and a wifi dongle and they worked without any problems. If I can't get windows 10 cheap I'll probably install Ubuntu which looks a lot more involved than Win 10. Weird but true.

Waste of Money
I bought this compute stick at the end of May. Immediately it began getting hot so I had to remove the stick from my tv when not in use and could not use it for extended periods of time. 3 1/2 months later, it has completely stopped working - won't power on. The seller will not take it back. Spend the extra money and buy from a reputable dealer. I gave it 1 star only because I was forced to in order to submit my review.
