PDC-39BK Clear Plastic Drawer Cabinet, 39 Drawers

Returning this product. It cost significantly more than comparable products so I thought it would be higher quality. That was a mistake on my part. The cheap opaque plastic drawers constantly stick requiring two hands to open even the smaller drawers. Larger drawers tend to stick trying both open and close. It would be very frustrating to use this product on a regular basis because the drawers are opaque you need to open up several to find what you are looking for. if the drawers stick, this can be rather frustrating. I have an older product from a different manufacturer that was purchased 20 years ago. It has clear plastic drawers that are well made along with the chassis. I guess they don't build them like they use to.

It's not so bad that I'd want a refund but it is bad enough that I wish I had spent more time and money to get something better. I keep various things I use for computer repair in these, or try to. The drawers all seem to be a smidge shorter in length than I need for almost all of my things that I would put into them. It's not a complete loss since I can fit them in at a diagonal on the larger portions but it is mildly annoying. The actual problem I have with this that isn't my fault is the overall product. You'd think if your primary purpose was to store items and open and close drawers that you'd make this part the best but instead half of the drawers require noticeable effort to pull open that I wish would have stopped happening after several times but it doesn't. I cannot figure out why some of these drawers just stick more than others, but they do. Overall it's okay, it inspired me to want to build a wooden one instead for something more long term and if you're really on a budget this isn't that bad, it's just cheap feeling. I'd pay $20 for this at most.

The unit looked sturdy and well made. Looks can be very deceiving. The drawers are very difficult to open and close. They do not have reliable guides to help open and close them smoothly like most parts cabinets. The bottom guides that it slides on only extend 2" past the front cover and that is for a 5 1/2 " drawer. It is very frustrating to try to open a drawer ( large or small) and having to pull and push all directions to get it to open and then going through the same hassle to close it. I would have sent it back except the shipping box was customized to fit the unit and it isn't worth the hassle to return it. Unfortuneately I purchased a large and a small one. I would not buy from this manufacturer nor would I recommend them.

Cabinet has 6 holes in the back to attach it to the wall as pictured. Does not come with attachment fasteners. There are two sizes of drawers, the different versions are just different arrangements of the drawers. Both sizes are 5.5 inches deep. The smaller one is 2 inches wide and 1.25 inches tall, the larger one is 4.25 inches wide and 2 inches tall. Each drawer (as well as each divider) can be fully removed from the cabinet. This is not a high quality storage cabinet. Some of the drawers are bowed and don't fit in the spaces properly. Sometimes, when pulling a drawer out it binds and almost pulls the cabinet off the wall.

Smaller size and cheap material.. the drawers are not opening easily.. it’s getting stuck

I ordered this for school and by the time I opened the box it was too late to return so I’m very frustrated. None of the drawers open easily. The ones I finally get opened, get caught on the dividers so they are useless. The drawers are also very flimsy. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing this item.

Overall the product is very functional and appears that it will last but not the best construction. The plastic molding doesn't align on the edges and is in generally a little flimsy. Unlike the storage drawers 15 or 20 years ago these drawers are soft flexible plastic, the old ones were solid hard plastic that didn't flex.

Drawers have a molded-in ridge that prevents them from opening. It's a horrible design!
