The lights are really great - I ganged two sets together and lit the underside of a bunk bed, for a loft/desk setup. 3000K is close enough to my ideal of 2700K to be usable for task work.Aside from the metal clips, the attachment hardware is junk, though. The screws are so tiny and made of weak metal so they strip right out when you try to put them into wood. They're so small I don't even think I could pre-drill for them.So I tried using the included double-stick tape instead. They did not stick to wood at all - the lights kept falling off. I ripped all that off and used 3M adhesive pads, and now it's perfect.I also had one of the included cables where the connector was on the wires but not crimped down, so it just fell off. Nobody is going to start a fire at 12V with these amps, and I did not need all the cables because I was ganging two sets together, but do check your cables from the box as soon as you can.

Great product for its intended use as under counter lights but for the use that I had intended the to be used for was a bit larger of a space between what they were being attached to and the work counter that needed to have light at for one light kit to handle. I did like the fact they were 12 volt because of my application I could hook them direct to the 12 volt source and not have to run a power cord from a 110 power source and could operate them from a 12 volt switched batter. If you have space larger then 24 inches between the counter top pr work surface and where they are being attached to the you might want to consider purchasing More them one kit for each area needing to be illuminated.

I use these lights to brighten up my showcase counters in my retail store. These light strips are VERY easy to use. They are LED strips inside a hard plastic casing that are only about a quarter inch deep. 3 strips come in a package and you can either connect them directly together for one long, straight strip, or you can use the connecting cords to add some length and/or turn corners. You can attach up to six strips on one plug-in adapter. The only thing I don't like about the product is that you cannot buy extra strips *without* the plug-in adapter. By the end of my project I'll have several extra. They come with a multitude of fittings for attaching them to cabinets and surfaces, but the sticky tabs that come with them are not enough to keep them stuck, so you may want to pick up some double sided tape as well. I love these lights: they are extremely easy to use and require no splicing, they are bright and energy efficient.

They supply a very soft but low amount of light; expected them to be brighter based on the description. There's no glare from the sides of the strips. Cord switch needs to be nearer lights. Two pieces of double sided tape and two metal mounting clips included per strip; must use very small phillips screwdriver to install metal clip holders with screws provided. The nail-in wire clips are to large for the connector wires but ok for the main power supply wire. If you use the tape, get some extra and use three pieces per strip, one each end, one in the middle of each strip. Are these UL listed? Don't think so but everything runs cool to the touch.

Great. The only thing is that the plug is rather large and since I was using these lights for under cabinet lighting reasons the plugs were oddly large and they could been seen. Other than that , I have been satisfied with the light output and will see how long they lasts. Hoping the advertisement for the longevity of the output of light will be for many ,many months.

works very well with ZITRADES® 12V 8A One Channel Touch Dimmer. i did only one side of the kitchen this last weekend and liked it so well i just ordered another kit to finish kitchen. only drawback i found was the trouble of splice, solder and insulate to make the jumper wires fit a REAL kitchen (WATCH POLARITY). longevity of the lamps and dimmer is my biggest question now....time will tell

I was looking LED strip lighting that would plug into an electrical outlet because I wanted it controlled by an existing light switch in a bedroom.I was able to set it up quickly and it emits a good amount of light, however, the reliability is just ok. There is a significant delay after hitting the light switch - a solid 2-5 sec. Sometimes the second and third light strip don't turn on for minutes.I will say it was easy, cheap, and fit what I was looking for. Quality isn't the best.

Strip lighting was used for under my sons bunk bed, where light does not seem to get too. Once installed the lower bunk was brighter than the whole room. Makes it easier for me to be able to read and make his bed. Would recommend this to any parent with children that have bunk beds.

Lights met expectations and would have earned 5 stars if the attaching hardware screws had been worth the packaging they were included in. Minor inconvenience to replace.Update Sept 2018: 4 years of continuous use. One bank of six lights began to flicker. Replaced power/switch cord and problem solved. Luckily I had saved the spare cord when installing lights.

I installed these in the "basement" of our RV. Nice thing was I could just tap into the 12V light switch to get power and it runs of the hatch button switch. Good light, easy to install.

Easy to install and is plenty bright. I used these as undercabinet kitchen lighting and works amazing at night. No need to turn on the kitchen ceiling lights. These provide enough brightness.

Too much cord from plug to 1st light and not enough cord between lights like stretching it past a stove fan
