I'm blown away by this sunscreen. I love that it's fragrance-free *and* that it actually barely smells like anything, no funky scent from the ingredients. It feels like a nice hydrating lotion on my skin - doesn't leave it greasy or sticky once it dries down, just super soft.I've got pretty fair skin, but a little bit of a tan right now, and this amazingly left zero white cast. I have tried a lot of mineral sunscreens and this is the first that's ever left zero cast for me. I imagine on deeper skin tones there would probably be a visible cast, but much less of one than with most mineral sunscreens.I personally like that it's not water-resistant as I prefer that for a daily-use sunscreen. The water-resistant stuff is great for a day at the beach, but it can be a pain to remove. I also like the price point here, very reasonable. Highly recommend.

I have tried all of the drug store brands, Sephora lotions with SPF (including #1 selling Supergoop) and this is THE best sunscreen I have ever used. It goes on so well - not oily (I have combination skin, oily T-zone), no white marks, doesn't crumble, and its super light! Everything I look for in a product. I use it at the end of my daily skincare routine and it doesn't feel like an added layer! It also works well with makeup applied after.AND - It's a local Chicago product!!! So glad I ran into the owner at an event, I will never buy another sunscreen again.

One of the primary reasons many people give this sunscreen a positive review is that it apparently does not leave a white cast. This is because it only has 1% zinc oxide and 2% titanium dioxide, which does not provide adequate protection against UVA and UVB ultraviolet rays. Only zinc oxide provides protection against UVA-1 and UVA-2 rays, and a sunscreen should have at least 10% to provide moderate to good protection.I would ONLY recommend this sunscreen to someone that is needs to use it to be exposed to sunlight for short periods of time, such as walking out of your home to your car, driving short distances (fewer than 10-20 minutes), or walking out of your car to enter a building. I DO NOT recommend this sunscreen to anyone that plans to spend long periods of time exposed to sunlight.EDIT: I would also recommend this sunscreen to someone that needs to be discreet about wearing sunscreen since it goes on clear. Most people would not want to show up to work or to an event with a white pasty face that other mineral sunscreens with high concentrations of zinc oxide would give. Also, since this sunscreen is somewhat runny, it is easy to apply to the skin without stretching it and is also easy to apply to facial hair. Just hold the tube upward as you apply since it may drip onto the counter or into the sink.

This is the best sunscreen I have found in awhile. It is so rare to find a sunscreen that dosent leave white marks on my face and I was so happy to find this sunscreen that goes on clear!! It it’s perfect for my dry and sensitive skin and I love how it is reef friendly and has no parabens. New favorite sunscreen for sure!

I’ve been looking for a mineral sunscreen that doesn’t make me look pasty or feel like a greasy thick layer is on my skin. Just found it!!! I tried this sunscreen on a whim and it turns out to be the BEST! It feels light when you rub it in and blends right in- no white residue. You’ve got to remember to reapply if you’re in water a bunch but otherwise it’s perfect! Wore it gardening and doing yard work this past weekend, my skin looked great at the end of the day. Highly recommend!

This sunscreen immediately caught my eye and I am so glad I ended up buying. It works great for everyday face and body protection because it is weightless, goes on smooth, and is made of natural mineral blockers. I have pretty light skin so I am always nervous when I know I am going to be in the sun a lot but Sven’s never fails to protect my skin and stay on for long periods of time! I finally found my go-to sunscreen. 😎

Skin broke out in welts and rash, but other people might not have a problem. Item is returnable so try it, you might like it.

Overall I wasn't big into sunscreen before this summer but after spending more time outside due to Aunite Rona, I opted to try Svens. It's not runny and rubs in well. No smell and I usually put it on after the shower before I start my day.The only bummer is when I'm working up a really big sweat, it tends to run. But overall it's a great everyday use screen and love that it's based in Chicago.
