STM Scout 2 Extra Small Laptop Shoulder Bag , Olive (dp-1801-01)

"I LOVE THE CONSTRUTION OF THIS BAG, IT FITS MY SURFACE TO A " T ". It's comfortable to carry, has plenty of pockets and dividers. Closes nicely and very secure when its closed.I could find no cons about this bag.

I love this bag ALMOST completely... I'm on my second one after returning the first when the plastic buckle snapped and broke the first time. First time it happend was within a couple days, now the second one happened just a couple months after having it and trying to be careful. Other than the faulty buckle, I absolutely LOVE this bag!

Love this bag. Perfect size for Air 11", no need to deal with a separate laptop sleeve. And people won't generally even know you have a laptop in there, even if they see you accessing the other pockets. Plenty of storage for such a tiny bag.The only negative thing I have to say: in less than half a year of commuting with it, I managed to break both of the spring arms on the buckle. However, STM sent me a replacement part for free, and in general dealing with them was one the least painful customer support experiences I've had. Removing the old buckle part took 15 minutes though, feeding the webbing through the buckle isn't easy. But my bag is like new again!

Thought it was too small even for my 11" MBA. I was wrong and the size (what they say fits 13") is preferred for my 11" it just gives me a little extra room for papers/magazines etc. The front pockets fit the charger, HDMI cable, VGA adapter, and external battery for 6+ hr flights. Would recommend you go a size a little larger than the computer you intend to store

I highly recommend this bag, and frankly any bag from STM. This is my second bag from them. I'm very pleased.

This bag is just what I was looking for. I took it on my first trip and put all my electronics and paperwork in its ample pockets. It held: iPad w/bulky Zagg case, camera, phone, 3 chargers, memory cards, extra camera batteries and meds, as well as my travel papers. Used this in place of a purse and could almost have done without a carry-on - not quite but next time......

I have just received today this STM Bags Scout 2 Extra Small Laptop Shoulder Bag, and I am truly amazed. The good quality of the materials used is immediately discernible upon seeing and laying my hands on for the first time on this bag. It feels so nice to the touch. The design is impeccable and there is nothing that anyone would like to change or improve on it at all. (EDIT: THE FRONT FLAP COVER OF THE BAG NEEDS TO HAVE TWO BUTTONS ON EACH SIDE TO HOLD IT AND PREVENT FROM BEING FOLDED UP.) The olive color is simply elegant. All gadgets will surely be secured by the buckle closure for its main pocket. Upon opening it, there are two small front pockets where you can keep your charger, USB cords, portable drive, stylus pens and other accessories, aside from a special clip for your keys for easy retrieval. There is also a zippered pocket for your IDs, other small documents and phone. Next to that is a slip pocket where you can insert your short size documents and even an iPad. Then finally, the inner padded compartment which is secured by a Velcro flap, can accommodate a Macbook Air 11", any netbook, or an iPad, and you are assured that while inside it will be fully protected from bumps as there is a thick padding in all sides, and from scratches as there is a soft felt lining inside. At the back is an extra slip pocket where you can also insert your magazines, airline tickets or boarding passes for easy retrieval. Noticeably, this slip pocket has a zipper at its bottom so you can slip this bag to the handle of a trolley bag. The sling which is made of high quality nylon is connected to the bag and can be rotated 360 degrees and it can be adjusted to your desirable length. There is also a shoulder padding that will absorb the weight of your gadgets and protects your shoulder from the strain. Aside from the sling, there is a carrying handle with a comfortable grip, which can be hidden or used at your discretion. Since the canvass material of this bag is said to be wet proof, I trust this will keep your gadgets from being drenched when you are caught running for cover from the rain. Considering that this is already the Version 2 of this model, I hope the main flap of this bag would not curl up after a while, unlike the old version. I am sure that this sturdy bag will keep your gadgets safe for a lifetime. I simply love this bag and I highly recommend it to anyone who is on the go.

Having got a Surface RT tablet the laptop back was too big. I needed something though that I could carry my other stuff about in and was smaller for the tablet. This is very good. I have a portable hard drive, the PSU, USB hub, USB Cabled Network adaptor, screw drivers, memory sticks, LAN cable, papers, other cables etc. which all fit nicely. Would have preferred more secure fixing on the 2 main pockets and if using over my shoulder on the motorbike the wind lifts the main flat up and the usb drive could jump out (though it never has). Normally I put it in the top box though, if it's not alrealy full.

Bought to carry an 11" Macbook Air, an iPad and Kindle.Good quality bag with all the pockets you need.Compact and well organised.

I needed a bag for my 11inch Macbook Air and this bag fitted the bill for a very reasonable price.
