Because I have a small Imperial Shih Tzu, I found that my regular dog brush just would not do for his face and his ears. When I found this, I was overjoyed. When I received it I was not disappointed. This little brush is perfect to get his face, around his eyes, along his jaw, and his floppy ears. I use the plastic bristle side for his paws which he just loves. He has learned that this is his brush and he will pick it out of the tray of dog grooming utensils and give it to me. Often he takes it to his bed and tries to sleep with it. I would say that this purchase has certainly achieved exactly what I wanted. He echoes that with two woofs! The brush is small with one side a regular bristle brush and the other a hard plastic bristle perfect for detangling and removing debris. The handle is rubber and quite comfortable. Its size is not threatening to a small dog and gives him a feeling of ownership. You will find that your grooming takes on a new dimension when you purchase this brush for your little friend.

If you are looking for a small brush, this combo brush is perfect for little dogs. I purchased this brush for my 2 pound Yorkie and I absolutely love it. It makes it so much easier to brush my little girl and she extremely enjoys the soft side while brushing. Highly recommended for little ones

I love this little brush. I have a Bichon and she has a pretty small face. This brush has been great for us getting her uses to being groomed. It is a small brush so it really is for small areas but I am so glad it got it.

Our 2 year old Maltese loves this brush. Scout is seven lbs and still benefits from a small puppy bush such as this. We have been using Lil' Pals brush products since when we brought him into our home when he weighed 2 lbs. This two in one brush makes it easy to use and convenient to pack. This small brush can go between his chest without repositioning Scout. It reaches in all the small places very easily too. We have bought other "small" brushes, however they feel too big as we brush him and Scout is not as comfortable with them being used on him. We love all that all the Lil Pal products have grown with our dog from puppy to adult. This brush is great for our small breed Maltese.

Got a tiny new fur baby and the other grooming tools were bigger than her! This was the perfect size, worked great, and when she decided to gnaw on the soft bristles they held strong.

Couldn’t find for awhile. So glad it’s back. The only brush I can use on my small dogs that gets in their creases. Dual sideS makes them feel like they are getting a good scratch or soft massage. Highly recommend!

It’s a small brush so it’s good for small breed puppies. But is kinda hard to get a good hold on it.

Have a little 5lb papillon This is a perfect size for him. Especially to brush in this tight spaces, like between his front legs.

Mi perrito es un pomerania, así que es peludísimo y tiene capas de pelo de diversos tamaños, se deja peinar todos los días y lo disfruta! Éste cepillo ayuda muchísimo, no lo lastima y le quita tooodos los posibles nuditos!! Me encantó!

Works great for brushing our small dogs. Just don’t leave it laying around because it could get the handle chewed off. How would I know that????
