Carlisle FoodService Products Cafe Plastic Fast Food Tray, 14" x 18", Chocolate, (Pack of 12)

I bought these to use outside to hold my perennials and shrubs that I buy in pots until I am able to plant them. I fill the tray with water to water them when there is no rain, wait for them to absorb whatever water they may need, and then dump off the rest. These trays also make it easier to carry the plants around to different locations. This size tray will accommodate 4 to 6 plants in 1 quart pots, depending on the width and shape of the pot. They have worked well for this purpose, except when I placed one larger and heavier 5-gallon size potted plant in the center of the tray. While in the sun, the weight of the pot warped the plastic tray, but I corrected this by turning the tray upside down and placing the same pot on top of it back in the sun. Within 2 days the tray was good again. These trays are easy to wash up and store away - the little protruding separator tabs on each corner keep the stacked trays slightly spaced apart to finish drying and not stick together. Good trays for the gardener, or for many other uses.

I use this under my coffee maker/grinder to contain my mess so grounds and water doesn't get on the counter. Temporarily store all the parts to my juicer while it sits on the counter. Holds my canning jars while they cool down. In the garage i have dedicated trays for projects to hold parts or contain a messy job. Super sturdy and well made. I would buy again, but I think these will last for a very long time

Had a bookcase that I am getting rid of books. Since the shelves can be adjusted about every 2 inches or so, I put a bunch of shelves 2" apart and use the trays as drawers to organize all the boxes of craft supplies. Handy in that I can take a tray of parts to my work area and then put them back instantly. I just have to be careful not to pull the tray out all the way without getting a good grip on tray or the parts will spill all over the floor. They are plenty strong to hold my parts.

Great price, prompt delivery, Prime shipping. Suits our purpose very well (meals in our church hall.) Compared to the alternative (fiberglass) - much lighter, less prone to damage (e.g. chipping or cracking from being dropped), and a lot less expensive. They go through our commercial sanitizer with no problem. Made in USA. So what's not to like?
