Evolution of Military Aircraft

Beautifully made with good, sharp color printing. Good for several weeks of assembly.

I have a couple of dozen puzzles (mainly 1500 or 2000 pieces) and this is the hardest. Some of them I can complete in a few hours. I worked on this one for a month the first time I solved it. It took me a while to realize the background changes colour from top to bottom and left to right, so you can roughly locate pieces. Before that I would pick up a piece and think -- "That belongs to one of the two dozen silver jets and I have no idea which".

We love EuroGraphics 2000 piece puzzles, all the ones we have done so far have been great challenges. The Evolution of Military Aircraft was no exception. However, this was the first puzzle we received damaged. A piece was broken, I used the feedback form on EuroGraphicsPuzzle's website to identify the damaged piece and provided photos and location. The other quality issue was that the puzzle had impressions of other pieces stamped into it, almost as if another puzzle was on top of it when it was being die-cut. It didn't impact the assembly of the puzzle, but it does affect the finished appearance and the puzzle is not suitable for framing and display.

Easy to assemble is a puzzling question. If it's easy to assemble, is that a minus? It wasn't easy, but not extremely difficult.

My husband is a WWII nerd and so he was SO excited for this puzzle! It didn’t disappoint! It’s beautiful and he’s still in the process of gluing it to hang in his office. Highly recommend!

Missing 3 pieces

I bought this puzzle for our biannual Christmas celebration with one side of our family. I thought that the subject matter would interest people. While that was true, this was a terrible puzzle for group work. The planes are too small--it doesn't really allow for people to work on a specific subproject within the puzzle. I also thought that the pieces were not well made. We did not finish the puzzle--it remains at my in-laws. Perhaps next time we gather for Christmas we can finally get it done!

This was a very challenging puzzle. It was quite enjoyable, but the lettering within the image was too tiny to be of any use.

I have a colleague I like a great deal. We are very different but that makes for a more interesting time together at work. His enthusiasm for aeroplanes is immeasurable. He goes to air shows, he takes photos, he makes models, he seems to know everything about them.For his birthday this year, we bought him this puzzle. He is nearly 60 and his face lit up like a child, it was beautiful. He studied it and checked he knew every aircraft on there (he did). He really loved making the puzzle and is getting it framed.If you know a plane-person, get them this.

l love this puzzle! Just wish they had a larger picture included as a refernce. The picture on the box is very small and hard to see, but other then that it's great!

It was a present and it gave hours of fun

I bought this for my dad for Christmas and he loves it, would suggest buying a magnifying glass too, as he can hardly see the details 😅
