Longboard Wall Rack Mount (Holds 5 Board)

Just opened my shipment and the rack looks sweet.I was debating between getting some or making something. Now that I see them, I am glad that I bought this... even with the price.They smell great, real wood. Look like the picture.They come with the two pieces of real solid wood and 4 long drywall screws. I will have to see where I am going to hang it to decide if I will use these screws or not. So far, looks like I am putting these out in a main area to show off my boards.I could have probably rigged something up on my own, but I definitely don't have the skills with the router or time to make anything as clean as this.They look simple to install, just a screw at the top and bottom of each piece of wood.I like how they added a small piece of pipe foam to keep the boards from rattling around in the box during shipping.They are unfinished redwood. They look great as they are but some might want to varnish to get a nice shine to them.Unsure if my longboard will fit as it has a bit of a curve it..Planning on putting a little strip of felt or something in the grooves to it doesn't mess up the board art. They should consider making the grooves a little wider and adding something to protect the board.

This board rack is well build and easy to install with only four screws. Displays the boards very nicely compared to other racks. Definitely allows you to showcase. I contacted Pro Board Racks to make sure my Land Yachtz would fit. They assured me it would. It does. The LY is an 8 ply longboard so I wasn't sure if it was going to fit in the niches.I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for 2 reasons. 1: the spot I wanted to hang in was not where studs were so I had to use my own drywall anchors. I think 4 drywall anchors should be included. 2: the LY fits, but barely. The bottom of all the boards are wood on wood. So some type of pad would be sweet. I have to take the LY out hella slow so I don't scratch the paint. I know I know it's a longboard things get trashed. But not on my wall, on the street!! All the other boards fit like candy. Don't get me wrong the LY fits. Boards look sweet on this rack 2!!!End of the story? If you have 5 boards, buy this rack. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

I saw the picture of this rack and was excited to see that I could fit long boards and short boards at the same time. However, on closer inspection, I discovered the only way to do this was to have a blank small board (no trucks/wheels) at the top, because the small board grooves lined up to where the trucks and wheels would go. With a little creative innovation, I figured that if we angled the holders to form a slight A shape, we could actually fit all the boards on here that needed to fit as whole, complete with trucks and wheels attached. Since the wood mounts are two individual pieces, and not connected in any way, this was manageable.Overall for us, a sturdy product that holds all the boards (and paddle poles) perfectly.Downside-Original picture is misleading, look carefully

Love this rack. Holds all his boards and we are no longer tripping over them in his room. Cam unfinished, but that was okay for us. We left it natural. It didn’t need any sanding, so we could have easily stained it. Easy to install. You can choose how far apart or close to mount the two pieces allowing it to fit a wide variety of boards. Is sturdy. My so. Was worried about stuffing his favorite boards so we simply install some self sticking felt tape on the inside bottom of each knot he. Works perfectly to protect the boards and they side in and out easily. Would certainly but again.

I’ve been into woodworking lately. I wanted to build one of these myself. Then, I found this and really, for the amount of time it would have taken me it wouldn’t have been worth it to have an ugly product since I’m a beginner. My teenage boys would not let me live it down. I’m so glad I bough this. It’s beautiful, easy to install and functional. The only issue my kids had was that it needs to be installed outside. We have a pretty safe neighborhood but they are always worried someone will come up to our house and steal the boards. They wish it had a way to lock them.

Just got this mounted and it looks nice, but it took a lot of work to get there. It felt like a DIY project.I bought this thing because I wanted to save myself the effort of buying some 2x4s and notching them myself.At a minimum, I wish it were already sanded. All the manufacturer really did here was cut to length and then rout out the notches. It needed some sanding to combat splintering. Also, it looks like a REALLY dull drill bit or router bit was used to make the holes at the end of the notches as the tear out was unreal.A finish would be nice, but I understand that some might want to just keep it natural.Also, one of the screws split in half as I mounted it, but I think that's because I drilled the pilot hole too small.

I really liked how easy it was to install and the simplicity of the design.

Very sturdy and super easy to install. I've been told by every single person who's seen it that they could have made it for $5-$10...but guess what...they didn't. I was happy to be able to buy it instead of fumbling with trying to make it. Plus they put a little detail on this that I wouldn't have thought to put on and it makes it very attractive. Great product
